I’ve always wanted a German Luger. They feel totally natural in the hand. Now if they were just affordable………

  7. CoinJeremy on December 1, 2021 at 7:12 pm

I have a Walther P38 from WWII. I got it from my Great Grandpa. It looks amazing and in great shape.

I have a good friend that has an extensive Luger collection. I’ve had the opportunity to shoot several of them. Though a “handsome” gun, I don’t care for the ergonomics, sights (horrible), or trigger of the Luger. It is a very complicated pistol mechanically, and very hard to shoot accurately. I greatly prefer the 1911 design.

Be careful of any SS stamped p38 that came from a czech. factory in ww2. Many were booby-trapped by resistance people.

If The Joker had a mustache, I am sure it would be like that.

Ah yes, "the nazi gun" from every ww2 film/videogame.

  14. HypedPanther on December 1, 2021 at 7:20 pm

Imagine using a piece of trash 9mm Luger when you could be a hand crafted 9mm P38

This post was made was Walther gang

    I miss the Luger.

  18. Aviator Jesus on December 1, 2021 at 7:23 pm

Ok. To be assigned a Luger in WW2 was an honor. Had nothing to do with being a WW1 hand down. Any allied soldier taken prisoner with one on there persons was executed on the spot, or was supposed to be. It you were a German officer assigned one an you lost it in combat, you would not get another. You’d get a Walther or one of the others.

  35. Tomasz Ser on December 1, 2021 at 7:42 pm

what’s a pity, he shoot only using Luger not other guns. What about shooting Brouning, VIS and P38 ?

  36. Operator_Hoodie on December 1, 2021 at 7:46 pm

The VIS and Browning were not German. The VIS was a Polish pistol and the Browning a British one.

  40. kevinjheath on December 1, 2021 at 7:54 pm

I am surprised that after you decided to do the Walther P08 that you did not also do the "Broomhandle" Mauser C96 which was also a WWI firearm that carried over into WWII and was carried by many Wermacht officers.

  41. Marko Štefanič on December 1, 2021 at 7:56 pm

I had the oportunity to shoot the p08 and I must say Larry did a great job at 25 meters and onehanded!

  42. Dominik Rychlicki on December 1, 2021 at 7:56 pm

VIS wasn’t german- it was Polish pistol made in Radom.

Je trouve que les pistolets à canons fixes sont les meilleurs , et je ne comprend pas pourquoi perssones n’a fabriqué des pistolets à canons fixes après les allemands qui était très avancée technologiquement sur leurs époque..!!!
