The VSS Vintorez and AS VAL are strange sniper rifles created by the Russian Military back in their soviet union era days of the 1980s. It has a number of unique features that set it apart from any other army sniper rifle. Truly there is nothing quiet like it in the United States military’s arsenal. So why do Russian special forces spetnaz and other elite operators prefer to use this rifle?

It totally hurts my anal when I see idiots placing the scopes on their eyeball. What the fuck is that for, to clean the lenses with your eye lash? These of these troopers will get killed due to poor trainings.

  4. Ronie L. Casaljay on October 4, 2022 at 8:43 pm

That’s an excellent riffle. Use by the special forces right? It’s actual purpose is for assault that’s why it has high damage capacity with good handling and slight sniper range ability.

  7. LibberTeen4L on October 4, 2022 at 8:44 pm

Isn’t this very similar to the 300 blk suppressed sbr or m4 length rifle? Isnt that used by US SF?

  8. Alt Reality on October 4, 2022 at 8:45 pm

isnt this niche filled by .300 blackout?

  9. Dejan Dimoski on October 4, 2022 at 8:47 pm

All that you’ve said and all that some of us know on the matter disproves what you often refer to as "A Sniper Rifle" it’s more than obvious that it neither is a classical sniper rifle and can barely even fit into the D.M.R category . It’s made for a specific purpose , and I think you probably figured what those are (being stealthy and deadly at close to medium ranges ) and it’s not too bulky , some have even folding but stock, so all in all it’s filling it’s role quite efficiently .I’d give it a 9 out of 10

  10. Clarence McGregor on October 4, 2022 at 8:51 pm

Couldn’t the 350 Legend with the right loading of powder and bullet duplicate it?

  11. Ben Nails on October 4, 2022 at 8:53 pm

They have a modern version of that rifle. It’s even better. Great gun!

  12. G H on October 4, 2022 at 8:54 pm

I rely on it in the final circle of PUBG…

  13. VindictiveGrind on October 4, 2022 at 8:54 pm

Why do the Russians use the AS Val? It’s because it had unlimited wall banging range with the 10 round mags

    …until it got nerfed

  14. Aaron Noffsinger on October 4, 2022 at 8:56 pm

The U.S. Army has adopted the SPEAR in 6.5 with a computerized optic and suppressers enabling your average marksman to shoot affectively at 600 meters with ease. Much further in capable hands. I think the idea is half or more of our troops will have these rifles, out classing the enemy with a combination of weaponry and it’s numbers on the battlefield. It is a lot easier to create a weapon in a factory than it is to create an elite warrior. Cheaper too. Another good thing is the new light machine gun uses the same ammo so laser guided focus has paid off in my opinion.

Other interesting ‘war news’: It’s so amazing to see the misplaced outrage of Russians protesting retaliatory measures against their own aggression. Here’s a crazy example of this: Russian protests I saw on TV (from London I think) of people waving placards of pictures of legless Russian soldiers and blaming NATO arms shipments to Ukraine, demanding a stop to them. Now that’s chutzpah. This is like.. a guy in a bar smashes another guy over the head with a barstool, the attackee fights back with a barstool that we gave him (we being NATO) and then the original attacker is outraged at being attacked and blames US for their bleeding head. You can’t make this shit up.. in a work of fiction, nobody would believe it.

  16. MC_Strobelight on October 4, 2022 at 8:59 pm

I’d say the USMC M27 is the closest thing we have to that though caliber is very different but we have suppresser and scopes on the M27

I’d love to see task and purpose do a comparison of 9×39 vs .300 blackout

  18. Love Dogs on October 4, 2022 at 9:01 pm

You obviously haven’t tried this in PUBG. I got so many kills from it without being detected.

Well, US actually have a similar calibre – .300 BLK
Thought its probably less efective due its less weight…

  25. lincs 4life on October 4, 2022 at 9:10 pm

"Has zero equivalent in the US arm" sooooo what about 458 SOCOM ? Dose that Literally not fit the same niche.

  26. Boris ezomo on October 4, 2022 at 9:14 pm

They had it since 1980s. Then it would not be a surprise to Ukraine, and they too will have it. USSR collapsed in the 90s

Сейчас наверно важнее понять почему никто не уничтожает руководство украины и все российские войска игнорируют западную границу украины, вот это загадка и только предатели этому причина.

  28. Bala Mohammed on October 4, 2022 at 9:17 pm

I think is because the us military already had the M110, fn scar 17 and the M14(socom)

  29. Marçal Torrent on October 4, 2022 at 9:19 pm

Subsonic weapon and super silent. Ammo have a nice pircing capability and shotting range still effective on 400meters. Big deal on urban firefights and special ops!

  30. Sin Dragan on October 4, 2022 at 9:20 pm

learn first What is dusk 408 and then talk in any sniper and let go krista you have no idea change diapers

  31. Alexei Ivashyn on October 4, 2022 at 9:20 pm

Khm… SBU actually is Security Service of Ukraine. And Alfa Group is one of it’s units, elite and bla-bla-bla. Should have comment it because what you were saying 9:20 is a bit missleading.

"The us is laser focused on not adding new types of ammo because logistics"

New 6mm gun got approved before the vid came out

Also a lot of the info in the video is kinda dumbed down

  35. Earl Johnson on October 4, 2022 at 9:23 pm

7:45 you showed a clip with the notorious red back pack guy . I did here he stepped on a mine and is no longer in the fight

  37. Nic Holbrook on October 4, 2022 at 9:26 pm

Hmmm… Short barreled suppressed AK-47… I’m surprised the entire army doesn’t have these.

  38. kush izzle on October 4, 2022 at 9:30 pm

9x39has plenty of your "stopping power"

  39. World at War TV on October 4, 2022 at 9:32 pm

Putin is easily the most evil man alive right now. Slaying thousands of innocents in his war of colonialism. He would be killing many more, but the world is stopping him! 💙 "Evil men prosper when good men do nothing." 💛💙 Happy Independence Day Ukraine! 🤘

  40. Bark Eater on October 4, 2022 at 9:33 pm

This 9×39 round is where JD Jones got his idea of the 300 Whisper that he came out with in the early 90’s. The 300 Blackout came from this. The 9×39 is a great idea and the Russians claim that it can penetrate a US military Kevlar helmet at 300 meters. When shooting at subsonic velocities, the bullet shape is very important. You want a flat nose bullet. The Finns have done a lot of testing on subsonic ammo over the years. During WW2, the Finns would load subsonic 7.62x54R with the bullets backwards. They wrote a report on this in the 90’s, it is a great read if someone is interested in subsonic ammo design and it’s effect.

  41. Hafidz Ahmad on October 4, 2022 at 9:33 pm

It is special ops weps for sure

  42. Rolando Inductivo on October 4, 2022 at 9:33 pm

close combat sniper rifle kinda like an oxymoron

  43. Sergey V on October 4, 2022 at 9:35 pm

Low stopping power? Are you kidding – it is deadly as fuck, all classes of "civil" armor vests will be penetrtaing by this weapon without regrets. Any terrorists inside 300m will be killed with no chance to even hear it.
Amazing for it’s purposes but too "special" thing and really poor balanced in hand. I didn’t like it.

  44. Harry Balsanya on October 4, 2022 at 9:35 pm

Looks exactly like the one in battlefield 2042

  45. Okobong Dinko on October 4, 2022 at 9:37 pm

There was a story I read on a newspaper. It was from a Ukrainian serviceman. It went; ‘i was relaxing with my squad leader and my squad mate, then a shot hit just above me. We all dashed for the trench but my squad mate who was to my right was hit in the jaw which shattered killing him instantly while also mangling his face. No chance of a open coffin. Then my squad leader, who was behind me when we all started running for the trench, was hit in his forehead. His head was cracked open causing his head to split open. I was in the trench then peaked out and was hit in the shoulder causing me to pass out.’ this was all done by a single soldier with a vintorez and none of them had any clue where the soldier was

I like AS VAL more because it is more awesome. I use it in call of duty mobile and it is almost like an SMG
