Buck is known to not honor their warranty’s
Love the Winkler Knife. Looks awesome. Thank you. ๐
Bark River Gunny. LT Wright. Falkniven F1. Lionsteel M4. Winkler are the BEST 5 on that table.
21:50 Did we see a little Brain Fart ร2…? ๐
Never understand when Zac (or anyone else) says they like ambi sheaths. If youโre wearing the sheath/blade, you should be sheathing the blade only in one direction, no?
Favorite fixed blades
#1 WINKLER belt knife
#2 Dynamis alliance Revere ( made by WINKLER knives)
#3 TOOR darter in Ranger Green
They are the only knives I own ,and I had a microtech ultratech, hogue, Gerber 06 all fail and break I only carry fixed blade knives . The microtech was junk so was the hogue and the Gerber.
Never take knife advice from a guy who says a buck knife is one his favorites, I bet he also thinks Budweiser is the best beer & McDonald’s makes the best burger ๐คฆ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Where are some nice Bark River/Blackjack knives reviews?
You sold me on essee. Now I gotta decide what model I want
You got a link to that specific ESEE-6?? I looked and it only came in grey
It only takes about 1.5 calories for your brain to actually think about which way the knive goes in the sheath before putting it away. Are you alright Zach?
Luv my New S35VN Stainless Steel Izula with Black G-10 Handle Scales’ ๐ช๐บ๐ฒ
At 4:45 that Schrader is not the Extreme Survival Knife. That is a SCHF37 Frontier.
The Extreme Survival Knife is a One Piece drop forged blade/handle with a hollow handle with screwdriver set in.
Big Mistake guys…
At 4:45 it’s the SCHF37 Frontier.
The winkler is real
Hold up there buttercup. dont mean to make some corrections but here they are nonetheless. 1st, there is really no such thing as a "scandi grind" the proper term is a saber grind. they dont even say scanid in scandinavia where this grind was made popular. Though its been around for ages and ages. Saber grind is what you’ll hear from people that haven’t been watching a shit-ton of Joe Robinett on the youtubes. 2nd a saber grind is NOT easy to sharpen!! not in the slightest, its actually the hardest grind to maintain. 1 chip and you have to remove material from the tip of the blade all the way back to the face of the blade. and if you do not do this correctly you fuck up the entire edge. It takes precision tooling and lots of practice with the correct sharpening tools to fix and maintain this kind of grind. Its only popular because of Mora, and its half grind the chisel grind (half a saber) is very effective in wood working. again though its the hardest grind to maintain. fuck it up, and you’ll spend HOURS on the RIGHT tools to fix. nuffsaid.
I hope you recycle all the papers on that table nice video
totally out of sync, where can i find that blue bird with the knife in the picture in the background?
There’s no Ultimate fixed blade therefore I have no need to see the video.. I take a knife and that’s it,much better than obsidian or bronze..
Would the shrade extreme survival knife work well for wood carving (nothing special just like feather sticks)?
๐
Excellent blade but I was more entertained seeing how beautiful you are
Show dos shows
What is scout carry?
for ka-bar why dident they pick the usmc combat knife
I have several of those, But I must admit, that Lion steel looks pretty sweet and after a quick check there are multiple options
You KNOW you’re a HUGE KNIFE FAN when you watch/enjoy the ENTIRE Video!! …and I did. ๐
N690 is actually tougher than D2,itโs also more stainless than D2.N690 is actually much more comparable to VG-10…D2 is harder so it has better edge retention than N690..I personally like N690 better than D2,especially for a fixed blade..itโs just an extremely well rounded middle ground steel..I bought a Bradford Guardian 3 and Bradford Guardian 4 in N690 several years ago.Im glad to see itโs got more attention lately as Iโve seen Kizer,QSP,Civivi,Bastinelli,Giant Mouse,MKM,etc have all been using it lately
What watch is this on your hand? Thanks
I just want to take the time to show my appreciation for BladeHQ for Sending me exactly what I ordered, and Also, It came at exactly the time shipping said via Ups…I Jighly Recommend Utilizing BladeHQ For all of your Blade or other accessories….I was Not Paid For this, and I Love My Purchase of The Ka Bar Warthog…….
Is though but it won’t chip is redundant. Toughness is the resistance to chipping
That Winkler def raised my eyebrows.
I bought the gerber prodigy and I’m not a big fan of the Sheath honestly the Sheath is a little to much honestly has all these attachments to add to your gear and what not. Is there other sheaths out there for this knife
I have the ease 4. Only thing I changed was the belt clip. I wear the 4 in the small of my back and since they donโt offer a clip for that, I made one myself out of leather. I love it. And stays very hidden
Mora Garberg
Can you please compare these knifes with the standard Chinese infantery knife, notably with respect to price?
you should have mentioned the gerber strongarm. It is very popular and well-known. (but it is overrated) also i think the camp 5 is ugly because fixed blades should look more classic and the handle looks out of proportion.
Great review!
can you do more videos about the white river fire craft fc5
Love my esee 4
Damn Chinese inventing gun powder. We’d still be fighting and dying up close and personal the way it should be. That’s why you gotta know that Alexander the Great and his Greek and Macedonian warriors were some truly bad ass tough sobs. Same goes for the Roman’s. Being a great shot or inventing big tanks and huge bombs is awesome. But even though the ancients were smaller in stature they were tougher physically, mentally and spiritually then today’s soldiers. Fear of being blown to bits is terrifying. But meeting another man face to face with a killing blade short or long or spear with men spilling blood and guts all around you is beyond terrifying. The panic alone to kill before you are killed would wear a man out it seems. But these animalistic beast men of ancient days apparently fought thru the horror, the gore, the finality of it all taking place within inches of their ultimate reality of being there to slaughter or be slaughtered.
BOYCOTT BENCHMADE!
Anti 2nd amendment!
No guns =. = more money ๐ฐ
I’m a big fan of schrade knives i have a schf26 extreme survival, great chunky indestructible tool, very underrated because of the price and not a "premium brand name" you know for all those who buy iPhones for 4x the price of a decent normal phone, just because they are fashion Victims!
SCHF 9
That Winklers a best buy for the money. That is craftsmanship! What a gorgeous blade. Again. That’s a fighter. With the high carbon content. She’ll be useful for a good long time in the field. That would be an EDC for me..
Always a great presentation you guys put out.
This has got to be one of the best Knife reviews I’ve seen. Great video.๐๐
My favorite knife is my SOG Seal Team Elite blade which is WAY too large for your puny collection, as it has a 7" blade and on the cover of the box it shows a .45 slug being cut in half by a blade… Yup, it was targeted for the SEAL teams… LOL AND? It’s CHEAP!
I hope the tops lite traveler gets another run that’s a great design and sadly I missed out
I’m an old guy, and the one thing that has always stopped me from buying the 110 is that I felt that it should have two blades, like all of the other pocket knives. Stupid I know, but can’t help it.
appreciate the newer knives.. but ill still take a KaBar extreme fighter in D2 ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
