  2. Charles Richardson on December 5, 2021 at 11:23 pm

Any idea when the M16 video is coming?

  3. Tobias Hitch on December 5, 2021 at 11:28 pm

Just my experience I’d have give the FAL a meh rating, had one from DSA and had QC issue with feeding. Sent it back and they didn’t do nothing to it and ending up selling it instead, I kept my M1a and PTR 91 and to this day they still work. I’ll probably wait for DSA to get there stuff straight before I recommend anything from them.

Very very great video, rifles, and explain, this is my favorite iccons rifles on all the times, i really dont like the new ones like the tavor, the g36 etc to me looks like the VHS recorder cameras on the first look, i got the ar15, the ak47 and i want the fn fal for my next one but i live in california and we got lots restrictions here about the capacity magazines and estetics features, hey i think the uzi can be in the list to this video 👍👍

  11. gray man on December 5, 2021 at 11:37 pm

you should get a MAS 49/56 in original caliber (7.5×54 french) … better than the FN, G3, and M14.

  12. Clark MirkBell on December 5, 2021 at 11:37 pm

The fn fal Means Fabrique Nationale Fusil Aautomatique Leger And can be changed to Semi And auto , The rifle was originally To use the Ammo of the Stg 44 ( something like the 5.56 Nato ) and was Very good like a g36 But With a Good Recoil control , the problem started because the americans ( With Possibly Corruption or Warnings ) Forced Fn Herstal to use the 7.62 Caliber And The fn fal was Very light And for that the recoil control was horrible , The USA After doing that Rejected The fn fal ( Like Motherfuckers after arruin a good weapon ) , And maked The M14 And Later the M16 , Basically USA maked fn fal Into a High recoil Because was not American, The worst thing Is The UK Maked a Version Called L1A1 And was Semi Only, And The Most famous fn fal is not the original Is Practically a british Copycat , And Not the original Fn fal 50.00

  13. rezdog187 on December 5, 2021 at 11:38 pm

Every battle rifle stems from stg44, m14 box fed from stg44, ak hell just look at it stg44 all the way , so there’s your tie in

LAA: [sic] -Russia wanted their own rifle.
    Soviet Union, c.1946.:
    > Yeah that German Sturmgewehr thing looks really fuckin cool. How about we just make that here?
    >Nah dude, we just held off half of Germany, it wouldn’t look too good if we had to pay reparations for patent infringement.
    >Gotcha. How about we just change the caliber and relocate the charging handle then rename the damn thing?
    >Fucking beautiful, Vanya! I knew that you cared for things besides tits and vodka!

  19. micon556 on December 5, 2021 at 11:46 pm

  22. Paul Popel on December 5, 2021 at 11:50 pm

A legally armed american with no idea of gun safety or why do you stand in front of the guns with all of them aiming at your balls?

  23. PaperMoneyy on December 5, 2021 at 11:51 pm

  24. SégWolf · XVIII on December 5, 2021 at 11:52 pm

  29. Mike T on December 6, 2021 at 12:00 am

    Where’s SKS???

  30. SégWolf · XVIII on December 6, 2021 at 12:02 am

Out of these 5 the best in this order.

    1.FAL
    2.AK
    3.M16
    4.G3
5.M14 should have never existed. US should have gone with the FAL just like they should have went with the FNC when it was made and like how they should move to thd SCAR or Bren rifles now.

  31. casualtrucker on December 6, 2021 at 12:03 am

    Great video!

  32. Joseph N. Pollaro on December 6, 2021 at 12:05 am

Sturmgewehr was very influential. But I believe the most influential battle rifle was the M1 Garand. That’s right. A French Canadian.

  33. Alexander M on December 6, 2021 at 12:05 am

Do a video on Cold war bulpup rifles also

  34. Robert B. on December 6, 2021 at 12:05 am

Looking forward to the vids – Love the m14 , i think America made a good choice with the m14, profen m1 garand action, stonecold reliable , and so beautiful 😊

  35. Darkwood Personal Defense on December 6, 2021 at 12:06 am

Nice collection of rifles there. You can fold the carry handle to the side on that FAL and make shooting it less awkward. Looking forward to more videos from you.

  36. red9man2130 on December 6, 2021 at 12:07 am

hi LOVE the video. I do disagree about the FN-FAL NOT being tied to the AK-47. The Germans developed the STG43/44 series (including the MK42B). I and a number of others are convinced the STG43/44 including it,s cartridge were the Inspiration for the AK-47! Where does the FN-FAL tie in? D. Saive wanted the 8mm Kurz round in the FN-FAL very badly. In fact he stated "I had to stretch the design of the FN-FAL to the Maximum to accommodate the .308." So it may be a stretch but there ya have it.

  37. Franklin on December 6, 2021 at 12:07 am

I want the M16 video long overdo!!! These are great!

  38. Aleksander Sienkiewicz on December 6, 2021 at 12:09 am

Wow, I never knew James Hetfield was doing rifle comparison vids too!

  39. michael roach on December 6, 2021 at 12:09 am

I love your bideos.Cold War rifles are bossomatic cool.

  40. Joseph Putnam Evans on December 6, 2021 at 12:11 am

What the Germans actually wanted most was the G4, or Dutch-production ArmaLite AR-10 of the "Cuban" model. The Dutch couldn’t even come close to their production requirements, and when the Belgians were difficult on their second choice of FAL, they took their third choice with a very cost-effective sweet deal from the Spanish for the CETME.

  42. ilejovcevski79 on December 6, 2021 at 12:14 am

What happened to the M16 video?

  43. Samuel Tomasello on December 6, 2021 at 12:15 am

    You’re doing a great job!

  44. Vic Loma on December 6, 2021 at 12:17 am

Great video. Man..I have all these rifles and it’s a tough call to say what’s best. For me as a shooter and collector, being a real deal factory built preban is the most important factor, especially for the foreign made rifles. Since all are legends at this point try not to choose between them and get the best example of each you can find. It’s well worth it to sell a few rifles like Century AK’s or CETME’s and turn it into a preban HK91 or a decent FAL.

  45. Tactical Trex on December 6, 2021 at 12:18 am

I love the Cold War era of guns. Such a cool era and so many technological breakthroughs in the Firearms industry came from it

  46. Genghis Khan680 on December 6, 2021 at 12:19 am

Although the FAL, G3 and M16 are all some of the most amazing and influential rifles in history (fuck the M16A1 though) NOTHING beats the classic AK-47 and AKM-47 in my heart and mind, I grew up with and trained on those rifles and they’ve NEVER failed me.

  47. Devildog on December 6, 2021 at 12:19 am

Love the idea of a "Cold War" rifle segment. Was kinda mad you didn’t start with this one. LOL! These are the rifles I remember being flashed across TV screens when I was a boy. Can’t wait.
