Walther’s super slim, super light PPS M2 is a dream pistol for concealed carry. Slimmer than just about every other single-stack 9mm on the market, the new M2 variant has many improvements over its earlier iteration such as no rail on the dustcover, an enlarged and more positively operated slide release and a redesigned frame and enhanced texturing for a non-slip grip.

The Walther PPQ Q4 SF is my personal favorite Walther handgun in 9mm. I got one with my Covid bucks and absolutely love it. It’s so rare to find a metal striker fired gun (surprise more companies don’t make one with how popular metal hammer fired guns are as well as how so many people love striker fired pistols) and I’m glad Walther decided to make an excellent one. The Q5 SF is a phenomenal competition gun, but it’s a little too big and heavy to carry. I can cardy inside the waistband with no issues and it’s surprisingly light for a metal gun compared to my older metal hammer fired options. The trigger is phenomenal and the grip texture is a major upgrade from the dodge ball ones on the polymer version. My hands get sweaty after a long day of shooting in the sun and it’s difficult to get a secure grip on the regular PPQ. I don’t have that issue with the SF model. Walther and Sig have some of the best weight distribution so it’s easy to get back on target even with the higher bore axis and muzzle flip. The SF model makes that even better. One of the most accurate, non competition pistol I have ever shot. Plus it’s still a Q4 model so it’s optics ready straight from the factory. It was a pain trying to find a gunsmith who would cut an optics slot for the standard PPQ. I went to 6 before I found one who was willing to do it. All the other ones gave me an excuse that the PPQ’s slide design was to difficult to cut a slot for optics and they didn’t want to be liable for damages/mistakes.
Nothing like strapping on a 40 ounce weight on the side of your body. I want something light, that I can carry COMFORTABLY ALL DAY LONG.
Wow. No P99 or P99c! These outclass my PPQ and PPS.
Hard to beat the PPQ! I would have mentioned the CCP M2 and the P99. Also, the PPQ also comes in .22.

I’ll stick with my two Walther P99 Gen 1’s in 9mm for they are the Grandfather of the entire Walther line !!! Oh yeah Bond James Bond !!!!
Can’t lie – you guys hit it pretty much head on.
These are all some straight up shootets. The Q5 SF is a virtual God in terms of competition shooting, the pps is basically a better made single stack compact glock, and the SC is probably my favorite – how they maintained the full PPQ design and made it work with that smaller size is absolutely FLAWLESS 💯
P99 is literally the best tho
I have a Walther P99 40 cal. 1st generation 100% all Walther no S&W parts. The trigger was reworked to 4 lbs. Stainless Steel recoil spring was added & both mags have new springs. I was offered $700 cash should I let it go ?

Don’t forget the P99 AS or any P99 for that matter. The PPQ and the PPS M2 are great guns. The Q4 is next on my list.
Any PPQ M1 M2 or P99 in 9mm may be the most under rated gun design l think it rates with CZ75 Browning HP 1911s and Glock and in many ways the PPQ P99 is better than these other guns

I love my Walther PDP Full size 5" barrel 18+1, for concealed carry (Yep. It can be done, just like carrying concealed a 1911, or a Browning Hi-power, or Glock 17). My Walther PDP full size is unblemished. So much so that I also bought me a PDP Compact 4" barrel 15+1. I am extremely pleased with the PDP platform.

You really can’t beat a walther trigger. Wife bought a pps now I’m looking into a walther for me.
It’s ironic that the best firearms in the world are made in countries that have the strictest gun laws.
In the case of Germany, we’ve basically inherited World War II era/Nazi weaponry culture that has evolved into American protectionism.
I wanted a Q5 the moment I saw one.
