I might be wrong, but I don’t know a single Correctional Facility where line staff are armed with firearms. NO FIREARMS, inside the security perimeter. You have armed towers, armed transports, numerous other times an Officer would be armed, but not inside the perimeter; only during a major disturbance would weapons be at ground level inside the perimeter. Just wanted to make that a bit clearer for those who think Correctional Officers are walking around among convicts while wearing a sidearm.

I currently on a Les Bser American Handgunner 1911 45 ACP. I like the idea of another Les Baer in 10 mm because there’s lots of 10 mm on the shelves right now it may make me that way in the future. Les Baer Custom guns have a great reputation. It’s also great to see the. 22 LR line expansion. Thanks for sharing

LMT has a new "Smart" technology, inside the AR grip. But, it’s only a cycle counter, can measure dry fire, blank fire, firing, and barrel temperature. The agency buys a scanner that gives the armory all the data of each rifle. So, it does not lock or interfere in the operation of the rifle, just logs data.
