I’m curious to know if they were all chambered in 5.56 if your choice would be the same. It’s kind of like you penalized that gun due to your own choice of caliber. Inquiring minds want to know, lol.

Hickok always talks about a rifle being as āaccurate as he can be.ā and that precision accuracy is unobtainable without a rifle rest or a bench or something. I get where heās coming from, the context I believe is ācombat shootingā or practical shooting. But one of the field positions is prone and Iām certainly capable of shooting one MOA groups on the deck using the magazine as a monopod. Maybe the rifle isnāt really as accurate as you could be and maybe you just havenāt practiced enough from the field positions. Thatās all Iām saying, accuracy is not unobtainable.

The a2 is the keeper everything else can still be replaced . But its not the best rifle . Nice stuff sir

Sure DD makes some top quality rifles, for that amount of money they damn well better. Id love to have a DD rifle, but then again, they are almost useless when you consider what an ar 15 is truly meant for. Who is going to take a DD into battle (unless they plan on dying with it lol)? Who is going to throw it in the back seat of their truck as a truck gun? Ar 15s are the workhorse of tge gun world, supposed to be rugged and reliable, but DD rifles are so bougie that they are safe queens. Its like having a souped up honda civic that you only drive for pleasure on weekends

the delton sport might not have had all the bells, whistles and fine manufacturing but it never failed, loved the stock iron sites and so much more fun to shoot accurate up close and down range….a good fighting rifle

1st thing Id do is sell the DD and get that LWRC a new charging handle. I don’t really plan on someone giving me ammo or finding a stash. Cant stand how DD feels so regular/basic and way to over priced.

At least I can now choose my next AR-15. Canāt collect guns like you, however I want different types of guns. So far I got the Glock 45 and the Mossberg Shockwave because of you. DDM4 V7 will be because of you too.
