Wasn’t it supposed to give an audible report per shot. I did not hear that with your test run

Pass the Texas Firearms protection act more info:
    https://youtu.be/7H0QzIWIsIk
Get something similar passed in every state.
Make every state a 2a sanctuary.
Fire oath breaks who r suppose to be Bound by their oath to support the constitution. Biden and many anti 2a people who want unconstitutional gun bans without first repealing 2a are not supporting the constitution. Make it a felony for any gov member to wrongfully and unconstitutonaly try to steal guns from non gov. Gov members who try to steal non govs guns should face the same legal consequences that non gov would face if they tried to steal govs guns

We must get good people in gov and in power to stand up for our 2a rights.
We should demand gov pass 2a protection laws and get ballot initiviates passed for 2a protection laws.

Thank you for the review. I was considering it, but may wait for improvements. I am wondering if l.e.d. lights mess with it registering phantoms.

  7. SargentT on November 8, 2021 at 8:39 pm

About your review. If you notice that the target white area is reddish, that is why you are getting false firings . The Strikeman is expecting a red reflection from the lazer, so if the background is looking reddish, it will register that as a fire. You need to set the ‘white balance’ of the camera to see a white target. If you do this, you will not have false firings. You should redo the review with the camera white balance as white, not reddish.

  12. Timothy McKenna on November 8, 2021 at 8:49 pm

  13. Doc Holliday on November 8, 2021 at 8:49 pm

This things been sitting under my bed since Christmas. I haven’t set it up yet, hopefully by the time I do the app is squared away.

  14. M Pac on November 8, 2021 at 8:53 pm

I think the Mantix X elite 10 is way better with there shooting academy

  15. Mike Jones on November 8, 2021 at 8:57 pm

Exactly, this is no different than just buying the little laser, but if it tracked draw time and app was fixed it would be worth it. Thanks for the honest review.

  16. David Ramsingh on November 8, 2021 at 9:01 pm

Hi, ordered the 3.0 should get it today… You were able to fit both plates in the back slot, could you then still use the second slot or does the second Plate in the first slot make it to tight to do so?

  17. Mark Pitts on November 8, 2021 at 9:03 pm

I downloaded the app and it looks like they made changes, I can delete history and further more. Could you look into another review since they seem to have fixed those issues? I’m looking to purchase

  18. michael mccahill on November 8, 2021 at 9:03 pm

I bought it and its not great

  19. Thomas Krehbiel on November 8, 2021 at 9:07 pm

  20. Edmund Dworakowski on November 8, 2021 at 9:07 pm

What is with the guff beard ? Are you a REAL OPERATOR, a Wanna Be, or just a DIUCHE BAG ? Either way, I enjoyed the review, and will pass on this phony piece of shit !

  21. Will Cruise on November 8, 2021 at 9:09 pm

Is there any system like this that is better? I saw one many years ago but that’s when ammo was abundant and I forgot the name.

  22. Erik Smith on November 8, 2021 at 9:12 pm

so is the 2-5 feet the distance from the shooter to the target or the distance from the mobile device to the target? It seems like it would be the mobile device so that it can accurately detect the shot placement. Otherwise 5ft is just not a realistic distance for shooting as the fbi statistics show most encounters occur within 21 feet. Have you tried putting the phone 3 feet away and standing back about 20 feet from the target to test it?

I did like your suggestions for a shot timer. Training muscle memory for drawing and firing is one thing that not all ranges let you do. As far as randomness I guess you’d need a spotter randomly announcing ‘Threat!’ until they added that feature.

  23. S Wib on November 8, 2021 at 9:12 pm

It is so bad… the app is very bad. And no augmented reality. LASERHIT is the app yo download

  24. Idaly Hidalgo on November 8, 2021 at 9:13 pm

Wish I would have seeing this before PAID press… LOL. But is money BK… Tnks brotha… Stay safe.

  25. Rick Sherrell on November 8, 2021 at 9:13 pm

First: thanks for the review. Second: this exposes the weakness of striker fired weapons. Training yourself to rack the slide after every shot may prove to be a big mistake. Hammer Fired only friends.
Edit: App has worked great for me as far as phantom shots. None

  26. PJP on November 8, 2021 at 9:15 pm

    What’s with the music?

  27. René Vogel Jr. on November 8, 2021 at 9:15 pm

    Thank you 🙂

  28. Timothy McKenna on November 8, 2021 at 9:16 pm

Instructions do not mention batteries needed for the laser ‘bullet’ when replacement is needed

  29. Top Tier Training on November 8, 2021 at 9:17 pm

Nice to see a good honest review with no fluff.

  30. Ken Burke on November 8, 2021 at 9:18 pm

I just subscribed do to that honest review

  31. Kawboy65 on November 8, 2021 at 9:18 pm

My experiences mirror yours right now. The app sucks. Hopefully, they push an update to make it better. As of now, I am not a fan at all.

  32. Jeff E on November 8, 2021 at 9:19 pm

I run an iPhone so the phantom shot isn’t much of an issue. But the issue I had was the rear oring tore and STRIKEMAN doesn’t offer replacements. If you have a STRIKEMAN system use a bit of gun lube when installing the round into the chamber. If your oring fails like mine did, I could not find an oring that fit but found the rubber bands made for braces worked and are cheap. Not as good as the oring but close. Some of the other brands of target systems offer replacement orings. The laser bullet is the only costly part, the software for the different systems is free with additional options for a fee. I recommend buying the laser bullet with replacement orings, try the different apps to find the one you like best, use a target of your choice and phone mount from Amazon. You end up with around $50 invested in a custom system that is a hoot to use.

  33. Gary Furman on November 8, 2021 at 9:20 pm

Outstanding and candid honest review. The red circle takes about an hour to adjust. Required about 20 restarts. It only records 50% of the shots and the audio does not work. The hardware is excellent. The app is awful. Just my experience. Sadly its going back

  34. Nick Richardson on November 8, 2021 at 9:21 pm

Great review! They listened to you and you dramatically improved their product. Great Job

  35. JR Falk on November 8, 2021 at 9:22 pm

Thanks for the true and honest review. I really appreciate how you’ve covered the different platforms and performed a detailed review.

  36. Doc Holliday on November 8, 2021 at 9:23 pm

WOW MINE JUST ARRIVED. LET ME CHECK IT OUT. MAYBE YOU GOT A LEMON..

  38. Michael Enders on November 8, 2021 at 9:25 pm

This looks similar to iTarget Pro, a system I bought a couple of years ago. The one way that the Strikeman system is better is that the Strikeman allows phone to be closer to the shooter and farther from the target than the iTarget Pro. When I use the iTarget Pro, the phone announced the score and flashes the number but the phone is so far away that I cant see where may shots hit until I walkd up to the phone to look at it. It appears that with both systems, the software leaves much to be desired. The most valuable part of each is the laser bullet. You can get about as much infomation by pointed you pistol at an object a few feet away, such as the light switch on a wall and see if you can hit it. There are other companies, such as LaserLyte, that have interactive laser targets and a variety of laser cartridges and SIRT style pistols. If laser training seems like something you would like to do, take a look at what Laser Lyte has before making a decision.

    That looks very boring 😴

  40. Halcius on November 8, 2021 at 9:25 pm

Since you have a laser and a target can you review the laserhit app? I beleive you can use any targets and any laser there’s 2 purchase options but it does have what your asking for

  41. Lord Kiki on November 8, 2021 at 9:29 pm

    Thanks for this review

  42. Leroy Churchill on November 8, 2021 at 9:30 pm

Dude! first thanks for the info and cool music. Second are you going to do a vidio when or if they get the bugs worked out like an app update or something? Also do they make a longer ranged version of that system?

  43. Shannon Massena on November 8, 2021 at 9:33 pm

Can you please do a review on the Mantis x firearms training system.

  44. Thomas Flock on November 8, 2021 at 9:33 pm

Check the laser too. My laser was not accurate and when you rotated it in the barrel it would fire different at the target. From low left, to low right. Thought this was odd so put it in a vise to take human error out and it was the same.
