Savage Model 40 22 Hornet Bolt Action Rifle

The Savage model 40 is a single shot bolt action rifle designed for short action small caliber centerfire cartridges. This one is chambered for 22 Hornet. It has a custom made wood target type stock and is topped with a 3×9 NcStar scope.

    There’s the gentleman’s rifle for sure good for 150-175 yards, low recoil and relatively low noise…Nice wood

    It was hard paying attention to the video because of the stock — makes my AA grade Cooper stock look like a sheet of plywood.

    Despise the Accu-Trigger.
    Give me a Rifle Basix trigger any day over the Glock Clones.

    the 22 hornet is kinda like a mini 30 30 round. I wouldn’t mind getting a rugger 77/22 hornet just for something kinda different.

    One day you might consider having that rifle rechambered to K-Hornet.
    Even better, more versatile and less finicky than the Hornet

    Nice gun.  The accu trigger is a nice feature.  Had a couple of rifles with them.
