Ruger GP100 Snub Nose 357

Ruger GP100 Snub Nose 357

This is Sarge here at C4 Defense, today I’m going to show you Ruger GP100 2.5 inch .357 magnum revolver. This six shot .357 is an absolute blast to shoot. And even though it’s a snub nose 357, it handles the recoil like a champion due to it’s heavy stainless steel frame and barrel. This @RugerFirearms GP100 may very well be the best snub nose 357 revolver out there. Check out the video and let me know what you think.

My first carry gun was a 3" gp100. Still own it and carry it sometimes. That’s one you won’t ever see me get rid of.

Recently got this exact model, 2.5 inch barrel, but mines a 7 shot. Love it.

I thought it was a good video. If people would actually watch the whole video before commenting they would have seen you shot it double action. Armchair cowboys

  11. James Cruse on November 25, 2021 at 7:02 pm

    No double action..?

  12. Lee on November 25, 2021 at 7:03 pm

Why are you cocking the hammer while shooting?

  13. el mecánico on November 25, 2021 at 7:04 pm

The other thing you can do with it is shoot it double action. Thumb cocking will get you in trouble in a defensive situation. Need to work on your double action skills amigo.

How is the recoil in .357 in this small barrel, one?

  15. eli23nyc on November 25, 2021 at 7:09 pm

I have the 1774. The 7 shot version of this with the 2 1/2 inch barrel.
Beautiful Piece. I never really carry mine though.. In fact, I’ve owned it for thee years maybe..
and I’ve still never fired it. I used to love revolvers back in the day..
Kind of a collectors piece for me.

Is that a full length ejector rod boss?

  19. Kyle Wood on November 25, 2021 at 7:18 pm

    Nice looking gun!
Sorry, but not a fan of those stock grips, cheesy front sight, or trigger. I compared my S&W 66-8 to a Talo Ruger and the Smith was superior in every way. But that was my experience, I’m sure other people have had the same experience but reversed.

    I love me a snubby!

Excellent video. Enjoy my GP 100 2.5” shooting mostly 38’s.

  24. rock Johnson on November 25, 2021 at 7:31 pm

Nice revolver.. can you shoot it double action from the draw one hand full house loads at 10 yards and hit the target.

  25. RE:Desert_Boy on November 25, 2021 at 7:32 pm

Ran across similar to this in black finish with fiber sight and did not know Ruger made a snubbie with a fiber front sight. Wish I had found this before I bought my S&W Performance Center 686 7 shot which is nice….just very large for EDC. Thanks for the video sir.

  26. JBJ Honez on November 25, 2021 at 7:34 pm

At 5:10 he shoots double action if some of these clowns watched the entire thing and does a great job

  27. MATTHEW DIEHL on November 25, 2021 at 7:35 pm

I have the 6 inch and its amazing. I love it so much.

  30. Roman Plascencia on November 25, 2021 at 7:40 pm

Why are you shooting a double action revolver that way.
