Hello @Hickok45 what brand of scope rings did you have on this rifle?
Esse veinho é bom na bala 😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Your problem might have been resting the actual barrel on that branch. Kinda throws that whole free floated thing in the toilet 🚽🪠
>^^<
I hate shining two liters myself! Lol
i’m not really a hunter either.
i only get 2 blacktail, 1 moose and a boo every year. sometimes i go get a dall too
Resting the actual barrel on a twig or any part of the rifle can effect the rifle harmonics “vibration” and can cause a different point of impact especially at distance. I know you know that. Even sighting in a rifle with a bipod vs shooting the same rifle standing will cause a different point impact. Good video! Just busting your balls
Daddy always said: “If you cant shoot ‘em, beat ‘em with a hammer.”
All your misses were to the left. A bit of windage adjustment with the dial to the right (2moa+) might have worked the magic 👍
It’s a rifle I have been considering to purchase among several .308 bolt guns.
Thanks much Bill for the great vid.
Whenever I can’t get down to the range I jump on YouTube to watch Hickock do it for me, damn you Americans are lucky!
That was painful. But I feel the same way about scopes… I’m not good with them at all. 1.)They seem boring. 2.) it’s expensive 3.) it’s it’s like the nerdy side of shooting.
Its like a 30.06 butt for girls
LOL 🤣 HAMMER TIME!
I got this gun it’s cheap but way accurate
What scope is this
يحتاج الى قوة لان له ارتداد قوي
🤦♂️ My friend. Both eyes open to find your target in your scope works better when your flap flops to the other side. 🤣😂🤣😂
I bought on just for plinking and enjoying on the range 🙂
Just bought one tonight with a Vortex crossfire 2, excited to take her out this weekend.
How do you fix the sticky bolt problem???
Im a scoop guy to
God bless you Hickok45🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
If you rest the barrel on something it’ll hit high rest the stock on something that way it doesn’t tweek the barrel
Hello. I own Ruger American 308 shorter version for juniors and womans. How I can better accuracy ? Short barrel not Good 🙁
yeah, red means dead
That .308 round sure did a good job making vapor out of that first two-litre you hit.
Great rifles, I have a 223 and a 308 compact.
Good video, thanks.
I’m not a hunter and will never shoot a bolt action rifle as much as my AR or GLOCK but I’m a big fan of quality in my firearms. I have a friend in Alabama who runs a hunting camp and if you have the money he supplies all his customers with model 70 Winchesters in 30.06 and a deer to take home as well as professional guides along with serving everyone breakfast, lunch, and dinner….basically a camp for real hunters and city folks like myself and after several phone conversations he stated for the price point and what I’m trying to accomplish you can’t go wrong with the above mentioned Ruger as well as a decent scope for under 1000 dollars. This man has been doing this stuff for over 50 years and since I have no interest in shooting Elk or Black bear in North America I decided to go with the .308 as well….Great video!
What amazes me is how quickly a few shots from this thing shreds stuff like tempered steel and body armour. I don’t shoot at anything living but I shoot at objects quite often, and blocks of steel look like they’ve been dropped on an industrial grinder after 3 shots from a .308
Man you’re near Joelton. Didn’t know I lived near one of my faves
Every Hunter’s dream weapon
LOL "I like to shoot anything"
A man after my own heart 👍😊
Resting the barrel is not good.
Is this Adrien Wallace?
Ruger makes a fine firearm. I own several. My Ruger P-85 that I purchased in 1988 has thousands of rounds through it with absolutely no issues.
If it cab hit say a size 7 hat at 250, it’ll do !
I want to get one, only thing is the retailers in Africa Expensive
🥰Ruger🥰
@ 2:32, this isn’t my game, continues to put a round in a flys ass at 100 yards !!! LOL. Gotta love Hickcock45. 🙂
Wow hickcock45 two million views. I guess there’s a lot people that like a little gong! Lol. Nice shooting by the way!
Fallout 4 bruh
Have to love the brass in hand after a shot
The first rifle it was a scoop bolt the front one. I filled mine down it was good. But that was my rifle.
🤣🤣🤣 what do you like to shoot? “I like to shoot everything!!!!!” -Hickok45
free floating barrel until you rest it on a branch
I love a good Hickok 45 video
The Ruger American was the first rifle I picked up a few years back and I love it! The big complaint I have is how garbage those plastic magazines are, but Ruger being Ruger they sent me a replacement after the mechanism in the magazine stopped feeding rounds reliably.
Awesome ..but how you controle canting effect
I love you brother, it reminds me of my old Kate, in the Marine corps. Sember Fi. USMC
The Bob Ross of the Gun World 🙂
