Everyone is panic buying. You can’t even find this shotgun in stock (or .410 shells for that matter) without being gouged. I’ll be getting one when things calm down. Thanks for the video.

Does anyone have an issue with the gun automatically opening after shooting? I think the spring insude my rossi tuffy isnt strong enough to hold the break action latch when im using my .410 barrel

  3. David Klimek on December 8, 2021 at 10:34 pm

Do you think it would be a good defense gun and what kind of ammo?

  4. Andrew Carnes on December 8, 2021 at 10:37 pm

It ejects harder than it kicks

  5. Terry Atherton on December 8, 2021 at 10:39 pm

Good for trips to the out house.

I purchased a Rossi 410 / .22 combo it’s the only Rossi I will ever own, terrible shooter. The .22 was useless shooting around eight feet to the left at thirty feet and no way to open sight it anywhere close to be safe so I use the 22 barrel for a Jack handle, while the 410 barrel like this video I tried all the different ammo using #4 I may had put three pellets in a squirrel at fourth feet with three shots never got the squirrel. This gun here appears to have the same terrible pattern, so I keep the 410 around for close up personal home protection only it’s not worth taking out hunting, I will never buy another rossi period. Rossi may make good guns but because of my experience no way ,won’t even take a free one.

  8. Sir Thomas Walton on December 8, 2021 at 10:44 pm

Maybe good for home defense or small game hunting survival type gun kind of reminds me of the Snake charmer lol.

  9. Philip Freeman on December 8, 2021 at 10:46 pm

    I had a Rossi matched pair 17 HMR & 12 ga when I was in AK .

  10. John Williams on December 8, 2021 at 10:47 pm

I bought one last week. Inside the barrel was filthy too. They should have cleaned it before selling it. I didn’t look down the barrel until I got it home.

Anyone ever try shooting .45 Long Colt out of one of these tuffys?

Reminds me of the Rossi Trifecta I have for my boy. Like the shell holder in the stock.

Some years back when my son was 8, I got the little Rossi Tuffy .410. He shot it 5 times and refused to shoot it any more. Too much recoil for the little guy. Maybe a little longer barrel would tame the recoil a bit? The rifle is well made.

  19. Jerry Davis on December 8, 2021 at 10:52 pm

Barrel hot so inside dia expansion problem

  20. Glonks on December 8, 2021 at 10:55 pm

I picked up one of these in tan.
It’s a pretty fun little plinker.

  21. Kegan Kirby on December 8, 2021 at 10:56 pm

I bought one for 183 after tax and it’s worth every penny. My son loves it who’s 8 and even I love to bring it out

  22. David Francis on December 8, 2021 at 11:00 pm

Great gun, taken several rabbits with it, carry it in off season for protection from coyotes 4 and 2 legged

  23. Larry Harris on December 8, 2021 at 11:02 pm

The H. Koon snake charmer was my first gun. Almost identical to this one. I still have it to this day. It’s a damn good gun for what it is. Small game, backpacking, 4wheeler and saddle gun great are the reasons this gun exist and it does very well for those. Awesome video

  24. lil slay on December 8, 2021 at 11:04 pm

I have one. I haven’t shot it yet since I only have one box of ammo

  25. Robert Tempest on December 8, 2021 at 11:04 pm

Someone recommended this shotgun for hunting small game an small birds, it’s cheap an look like fun

  26. Michael Malone on December 8, 2021 at 11:05 pm

  27. SNOW GORILLA on December 8, 2021 at 11:06 pm

From Canada I hope none of the anti gun gov’t fools are watching, or this is all we will be able to own because according to their logic legal gun owners are the problem

  28. Jordan Brown on December 8, 2021 at 11:06 pm

We just got it today we love it

  29. John Williams on December 8, 2021 at 11:08 pm

  30. Average Guy Lifestyle on December 8, 2021 at 11:08 pm

Nice review. I just bought this same firearm a few days ago. Just came across your channel and liked it. I also have a YouTube channel where I shoot some along with other stuff, so i like to check out other Youtubers. Keep up the good work!

  31. Greg SG on December 8, 2021 at 11:10 pm

Like the video but the caliper is junk that type is not accurate or reliable.

  32. Seth Curtis on December 8, 2021 at 11:14 pm

Thanks this is a good gun. I did a review of it too https://youtu.be/u61NVRJOo1U

  33. David Francis on December 8, 2021 at 11:15 pm

Own this little gun, harvested 30+ cottontail with it, mine likes the 2.5in Browning 7.5s or 8s

  34. Diane cooper on December 8, 2021 at 11:16 pm

  35. Hulado on December 8, 2021 at 11:16 pm

  37. adaboy4z on December 8, 2021 at 11:17 pm

I’ve seen this shotgun a lot the last few weeks.

  38. Brian Belliveau on December 8, 2021 at 11:17 pm

It’s probably made as a kids beginning to learn on

  39. Christopher Hess on December 8, 2021 at 11:18 pm

BTW….why would anyone give this a thumbs down? WTF

  40. Christopher Hess on December 8, 2021 at 11:19 pm

I have a Rossi .410 and shoot slugs all the time. I also reload .410 with .40 cal musket balls. I made a rear sight for mine.

  41. Conrrado Torres on December 8, 2021 at 11:21 pm

I’ve seen the neighbor’s kid take a few hogs with his. Good shot, especially with those slugs.

  42. Scott Klatt on December 8, 2021 at 11:22 pm

This was my very first gun I ever bought by myself and believe it or not I have taken out an engine block at my uncle’s junkyard with the 410 slug so for home defense light predator when the s*** hit the fan if you can find ammo cheap enough awesome he also showed me on my very first handgun a 410 judge

  43. Jesse Calvert on December 8, 2021 at 11:22 pm

Cant find any 410 shells so im watching this instead 🙁

  44. Christian Dehlinger on December 8, 2021 at 11:22 pm

    Good review.

  45. BOB PEG on December 8, 2021 at 11:24 pm

My wife had this 410 with a .22 mag. barrel. The ejector does not work like the one in the video. Good to know it will shoot slugs.

  46. Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Relics TM on December 8, 2021 at 11:29 pm

Just bought one. Like it very much. I compare it to the old H&R’s from the ’70’s. Inexpensive, simple but they work well for their intended use. I’ll probably get a spare.

  47. John Wolfe on December 8, 2021 at 11:30 pm

Just got one I really like the little thing .it’s a fairly good all perpous shot gun .

  48. Problem Solver on December 8, 2021 at 11:33 pm

Best little hiking pack gun I’ve come across…. I love mine and it was nice to have when I came across a rabid fox….
