Mine was $119 …. going to try it out Saturday at an outdoor private property with high temp about 32F so we will see how cold affects the polymer if at all.

Thanks for the review. I just picked one up today on an impulse buy. The first thing that I noticed was the stock. Mine appears to have been hydro dipped in a carbon fiber look. Pretty cool look. For me, the stock fits perfectly. When I shoulder it, it snaps into a perfect sight picture. Second, the sights are nice and bright. I haven’t shot it yet, so, no comments there.

Thanks for the review! I just ordered one. I was just taking inventory of my ammunition and remembered that I had plenty of .22LR but no gun for it. lol

Wife just picked one of these up for $199 which isn’t bad considering everyone’s panic buying. The only difference between the one she bought and the one in your video is that its threaded for a suppressor or flash hider/compensator. I also think the window in the magazine is missing. Haven’t hit it yet but I mean its a .22, I dont think I’ve ever shot an unreliable .22 rifle or pistol, and I’ve shot some worn out falling apart rifles that still fired every time. In fact I’ve only had one .22 round in my whole life that didn’t fire come to think of it. I’ve been shooting with other people who had dead rounds, but I personally have got lucky I guess. Anyway, good video! It’s a good little gun. I am weary of shooting stingers out of it, chamber walls look a little thin lol.

I bought one yesterday for $129.99 we’ll see how it goes.

  17. small bore on November 11, 2021 at 9:52 pm

Have you done a test on the Rossi .22 magnum semi auto?. I’m very interested in picking one up.

  18. Paul Condie on November 11, 2021 at 9:53 pm

Not sure which I’d rather have this or ruger 10/22? I’m buying one sooner than later, but after watching the video I’m steering towards the Rossi! Great video! 👍

I had the 702 version of this one a few years ago. Out of the box the barrel was crooked, shot ok with a scope, no go with the iron sights. Contacted Mossberg and they replaced the barrel and gave me 2 extra magazines for the inconvenience. It actually shot better with the new barrel than before. Good customer service, imo…

  20. Ben S on November 11, 2021 at 9:54 pm

I really like the amount of detail that you go into for your videos. I purchased this thing a while back ago thinking it was just a cheap plinkster and it is, but it’s also an extremely reliable and well operating rifle and you can’t beat that price. This may not have all the bells and whistles but it’s still a quality firearm. The only thing you didn’t mention, which you’re probably aware of, is the manual bolt hold open that it has. When you pull the charging handle all the way back and then you press it in towards the receiver it will keep the bolt recessed for cleaning or inspection.

I would have liked to see the accuracy test at 100+ yards. 25 yards is more of a handgun range rather than a scoped rifle range.

  22. Jon Smith on November 11, 2021 at 9:57 pm

Would love your reviews on there 22 lever or pump

  23. Matthew Lyness on November 11, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Just bought one, thanks for the great review

  32. Derek Dean on November 11, 2021 at 10:10 pm

I seen this and avoided it based on the price figuring it would be terrible and blow up in my hand. However, with the rifle that I want being impossible to find, I was just going to wait until whenever. However a friend brought this out shooting and right away, the sights alone are worth the price. It shot well. I only put 20 rounds through it but it did make me think I’d pick one of these up until I go Ruger Precision and or Buckmark Carbine. In all honesty it was a fun little rifle and I regret not putting more shots through it to see how it help up after 100+ rounds.

  33. Yasugi 01 on November 11, 2021 at 10:11 pm

I’ve been really thinking about this little rifle it’s only $140 after shipping and what not seems like a fun time

  34. Refreshed 101 on November 11, 2021 at 10:13 pm

Can you switch out the 22 barlle to rossi hmr 17 on this rifle? It’s a floater so I’m thinking yes but wanted to check

  35. Gaylord Miller on November 11, 2021 at 10:16 pm

So which did you prefer the Rossi or the Savage 64F?

  36. Samuel on November 11, 2021 at 10:17 pm

    Almost zero recoil

  37. Dusty Nevada on November 11, 2021 at 10:18 pm

Other than the magazine, looks a bit like a Ruger 10/22

  39. Yasugi 01 on November 11, 2021 at 10:21 pm

  40. Grimshaw Grummage on November 11, 2021 at 10:21 pm

much better than the shitty $99 gun. At the low end – a few extra bucks gives you much better quality.

  42. Albert King on November 11, 2021 at 10:23 pm

This video lost 25% credibility because of that NRA sticker.
