Rossi RS22 .22lr review
Rossi RS22 review
In this video we review the Rossi RS22 Chambered in .22lr
looking for your next semi auto rimfire rifle? well if you are on a budget this one may be perfect for you. reliable (to some degree) and fairly accurate. 3rd in our series for the budget semi auto rimfires is the Rossi RS22
this rifle proved to be a decent little plinker big enough that the average adult will find it to the right size although with a short length of pull typical of the rimfire rifles. I was pleasantly surprised with how well this rifle performed, to be honest i had quite low expectations, but for the price tag its a no brainer, it simply works

What the fuck is a meter ??

I’m wondering now that you’ve put more rounds through it, and cleaning the barrel, if accuracy has improved for you. I’ve got great accuracy with mine. I know Rossi’s tend to have a lot of shipping oil when new.

    Shooting a gun

  5. wileycoyote19 on December 9, 2021 at 10:40 pm

And friends, if you find the Mossberg 715T 25rd magazine, it will work flawlessly in this rifle. Who wouldn’t like 25 instead of 10rds…

    Stop closing non dominant eye

  7. Scott Graham on December 9, 2021 at 10:42 pm

I bought this Gun for $130 a while back, I have shot 3000+ rounds it eats everything I feed it about 5 to failures to feed in that time. and I’ve cleaned it 2 times. I got 2 of the 25 round 702 Plinkster mags, and an extra 10 round mag. they all shoot great No problems. for a Budget .22 it’s a great gun. I have a Ruger 10/22 that’s a hole other beast and you can’t compare them because Quality guns and budget guns are not really the same. but when I’m plinking or hunting small game or getting ride of vermin. without a doubt I can have fun with either gun. Also I bought 3 other Rossi rs 22’s as gifts for friends and they all run just as well. lube the guns and feed them ammo. Great budget guns….

Accurate with iron sights at 150 ft.

  9. Mike of many Mikes on December 9, 2021 at 10:44 pm

I love the fiber optic sights, and so does everybody who I show it to. Better than Ruger, Savage, Remington, and others.

Bought one on gunbroker today for $84. Why not!!

  11. Werli on December 9, 2021 at 10:45 pm

I’ve only ever shot a shotgun once with a family member, but i’m getting my first firearm because i moved into my own place and i just bought the RS22. There’s almost nothing cheaper, it’s accurate, its semi-auto, it holds 10+rounds, it doesn’t have any kick (good for a beginner like me to get comfortable), i could go on lol

  12. Utdxutfxutfx #9580ihg ygciugci on December 9, 2021 at 10:46 pm

I bought this same gun for 99.99$ it great

  13. lrpwicky on December 9, 2021 at 10:46 pm

Dude reviewing this is a chode! This gun shoots well and accurately enough, nice sandbags and 50mm scope though (chode). Same type of tacticool chad that will knock HI point or Phoenix arms .22 typical pimp gun puss. Well made cheap firearms are a staple in the US. Keep your ham, syrup and French language. I’ll keep a couple of these rifles for my grandchildren “A hoser”.

We spent a little more and got the Rossi Rio Bravo…as a lever action it will run the nastiest cheap bulk ammo…and it does a fine job being fun…

  17. THE Kids on December 9, 2021 at 10:51 pm

The groups are you son. Sorry.

  18. Real Eyes Realize on December 9, 2021 at 10:54 pm

At something you have to accept the fact you can’t fit into a medium anymore and just buy the Large.

  19. Jason C on December 9, 2021 at 10:55 pm

Entertain me you made this video you can get an aftermarket stock

  20. Appalachian Exploration on December 9, 2021 at 10:55 pm

    As reliable as any rimfire

  21. Marco Arce on December 9, 2021 at 10:56 pm

I’ve had this little green 22 lr, for maybe a year and a half…. For the 130 bucks….
Only thing, maybe I should have gotten the Mossberg…. It’s a nice little rifle.

  22. Utdxutfxutfx #9580ihg ygciugci on December 9, 2021 at 10:58 pm

And I recently killed a groundhog with it

  23. Christopher Richardson on December 9, 2021 at 11:00 pm

Just got one of these for my little boy for his 6 year old birthday. Got some 25 rounders for it. Can’t wait to shoot it.

  24. Rachel Fernandes on December 9, 2021 at 11:00 pm

Super deal Richard! haven’t used mine yet but anything is better than my Cooey 64A Jamamatic. I have a Remington Nylon 66 that has fired 100’s without the slightest glitch, I haven’t used yet a Ruger 10/22 that I bought 2 yrs ago but was almost 3 times the Rossi’s price, Thanks for y7our reply. keith

  25. hockey playah on December 9, 2021 at 11:01 pm

Lucky enough to get this for $100 and think at that price point it’s great. Yep – It’s a $100 gun and I’ve put some odd ammo (coned, hollows, lead, coated) and it’s run it all. Are there some cheap things on it, Yes. Sights are fragile in my estimation but functional, stock is plastic mold. Not sure I’d pay a lot more than what I did but I’m happy with the product for the price point.

  26. Mini Jaco on December 9, 2021 at 11:02 pm

I have a problem my she’ll doesn’t eject I have to manually do it please help

  27. Small town nobody on December 9, 2021 at 11:03 pm

I have the same rifle but it has a 3×9 scope and is spot on and has never jammed or missed fired I have ran over 400 rds and still haven’t cleaned it but it’s still doing good

  28. ElGringoMexicano on December 9, 2021 at 11:03 pm

Just paid $150 for one in Oregon, kinda up there but they are hard to find these days so I think it’s reasonable.

  29. David M on December 9, 2021 at 11:05 pm

I feel your review was totally off on everything to discuss. You bought a 150 dollar gun but expected it to shoot like a browning. Your forgetting the marlin model 60 was only 99 bucks and is one of the hottest guns. Then to say after 350 rounds the reliability goes out door. Whatya mean??? I have tossed over 1000 rounds and no issues.

  30. Jose Vega on December 9, 2021 at 11:06 pm

Hello. Does one have to “cock” the rifle every time a clip has been attached ? i don’t know a lot about guns so thanks in advance

  31. Richard Waid on December 9, 2021 at 11:06 pm

That’s what my groups look with several different kinds of ammo out of much more expensive rifles, but then sub 1in with the ammo they like. Eley match grade seems to be the best for accuracy in all my 22s. I do have one of these Rossi 22s and from my perspective it’s an outstanding value. Trigger could be a lot nicer but if’s not much worse that a 10-22. But for banging around the farm it’s perfect.

  32. Michael Jenkins on December 9, 2021 at 11:07 pm

well i must have gotten robbed, i bought one today for 199

  33. Bill Houser on December 9, 2021 at 11:10 pm

    Maybe its you.

  34. Miguel Perez on December 9, 2021 at 11:12 pm

I’ve had mine for 4 months.. Shot around 150 rounds through it… Thew a leupold 3-9×40 on it and is deadly accurate at 50 yards with ball ammo.

  35. Cee Davis on December 9, 2021 at 11:12 pm

I bought one of these a month ago, jammed right out the box and it been nothing but trouble since. Jams every other mag. Bends bullets. I loved my Rossi .22 pump and thought this rifle would have been as much of a joy to own. My M&P 15-22 works flawlessly. Wish I could say the same for my Rossi. I plan on taking it down and smoothing out the insides with some steel wool. 🤞

  36. Mike of many Mikes on December 9, 2021 at 11:12 pm

This guy is oblivious to the Rossi. Tons of aftermarket parts. Everything the mossberg 702 can use, this can use. Stocks, optics, magazines, what more you need? 5/5 aftermarket ability.

  37. winston churchill on December 9, 2021 at 11:15 pm

Accuracy5/5???? Where I come from, 5/5 would have been quarter groups….not pie plate……damn son.

  38. Titan Jake on December 9, 2021 at 11:15 pm

For 130 bucks can’t do much better for a plinkster

  39. Vintageiro Som antigo on December 9, 2021 at 11:15 pm

I live in Brazil, i have the cbc 7022, this model is the same, this is a good rifle, i using this rifle for boar hunting.

  40. John Conley on December 9, 2021 at 11:16 pm

Can cheap be reliable? Yes if your talking about the firearm. It always surprises me how many of these YouTube videos don’t understand that cheap ammo makes these firearms less than 100 % reliable. All they want is hits on the video.

  41. Jayden Duquette on December 9, 2021 at 11:16 pm

I grew up with a mossber 702 plinkster literally same rifle never cleaned it til last year had to of had 500 plus rounds threw it. It took lots of cleaning once I tore it down all the way.

  42. Keith Fernandes on December 9, 2021 at 11:16 pm

    o
Good & fair review. Ordered one thru Bass Pro for $169 just 3 days ago in TO. Not unusual for the first rounds of a new rifle to be all over the map. Would love to see how the discontinued Remington Nylon 66 would have compared with the newer semi autos of today.

  43. Jeremy McCallister on December 9, 2021 at 11:17 pm

I’ve owned a Rossi pump .22 LR for 33 years and it is the most accurate rifle I’ve ever shot and anyone who has ever shot it loved it as well. It’s still in immaculate condition and just as “sexy” as the day I opened it. Rossi may be cheap but they are good quality guns.

  44. Gailm Rutland on December 9, 2021 at 11:19 pm

*I bought 4 of these at $89.00 plus tax in 2017, and it is a BEAT IT TO DEATH, remarkably accurate, and with the plinkster 25 rd mags–its GREAT, but you need an adapter to release the plinskser clip ( Wire braid worked for me). TAURUS MADE!*

  45. Keith Wittman on December 9, 2021 at 11:20 pm

    You look like a homosexual

  46. Shelltowee 86 on December 9, 2021 at 11:21 pm

You can pick them up on sale for $100 in the US still. And they are a tack driver you can’t beat these for $100 bucks to give to a kid to tear up cause mine tear up anything they touch.

  47. Daniel Badial on December 9, 2021 at 11:23 pm

Wrong…lol. This is a free floating barrel.

  48. Conor Duggan on December 9, 2021 at 11:24 pm

It’s come down a little in price but Canadians are still getting ripped off for thing that are dirt cheap in the US.

  49. carlos navarro jr. on December 9, 2021 at 11:25 pm

My Rossi shoots really well. I sight it in at 50 yards

  50. Ruben Lago on December 9, 2021 at 11:31 pm

    learn to shoot…LOL
