Romanian SAR-1 one of my favorite AK variant. They may have not looked pretty but run awesome. I recently went from the Tapco to an AGL and the rifle is simply awesome. Purchased the rifle new in 2000 and the only change was the trigger. It’s one of the few if not only imported variant that is the closest to an actual AKM. Don’t believe me, well Jim Fuller from rifle dynamics likes them and has build custom rifles using them.

Man! If you ever need to prove to someone that guns flex and have their own harmonics when firing, show them a full auto AK in slow mo! My brother didn’t believe me that guns visible flex when fired. He believes me now 😂 now I’m just trying to make him understand why that doesn’t mean it’s stupidly inaccurate and firing essentially 2 groups which each burn because he’s got it into his head that it’ll fire a round at the top and bottom of each oscillation 😂 this is what I have to deal with in England! And he owns guns! Albeit he only has a shotgun licence, gun laws here are stupid. They’re stupid everywhere but more so here lol.
The Romanian civil guard AK was actually semi auto only not full auto, was probably converted by an s.o.t. here in the united states. and as I suspected that Romy G was converted as a S.O.T. machine gun by century arms, it says C.A.I. on the receiver. Romy G AK’s were semi auto only.
