Joe I just bought my 1st rifle/scope….do you know of any "masterclass" type or course that takes you thru understanding it all (or maybe there is a good book?) From zero’ing in your scope, understanding and applying mils/moa, etc.

How do I pick a scope based on how far I want to shoot? Let’s say I want to pick something I can use between 100 and 600 meters? How do I figured that out? What can you shoot with a 1-6 vs 1-8? I do have a scope in mind 1-6×24 VMR-2 MRAD SFP Riflescope, my thing is how do I know how far a scope can shoot based on those numbers, how far would a 1-6 would take me and how far a 1-8 would take me, that’s the thing I can’t seem to figured it out

Looking through a 3×9 scope at 3 power viewing at 100yds the view would be 33 yds and a 9 power setting would be looking at 11 yds?
