    Mossberg , all day

  2. Trevor De La Rosa on November 21, 2021 at 6:38 pm

Is nobody really taking into account the fact that the 870 can accept magazine tube extensions and the 500 can’t? That’s a big deal to me

  3. alex c on November 21, 2021 at 6:39 pm

    Mossberg

Put a pistol grip on the Moss and then tell me about that safety….

I miss this guy on tfbtv

People in the comments are all about the ambidextrous safety on Mossbergs and how it’s so much better than the crossbolt style on the Remington.
    Meanwhile, in Maverick 88 land…

  8. Michael Weston on November 21, 2021 at 6:45 pm

Freedom Group owns remington. Nuff said.

  9. SundayRoast on November 21, 2021 at 6:48 pm

Did my applied reservist shooting shotgun test with an 870.
Liked it otherwise, but goddamn that safety by the side of the trigger guard made me uneasy.

  10. ONEDIRECTION on November 21, 2021 at 6:49 pm

    Do they both have chokes?

  11. Raul Holliman on November 21, 2021 at 6:49 pm

I’ve got a newer 870 and I don’t have any issues. It’s a fine shotgun and I shoot it often, and I’m still yet to have 1 malfunction whatsoever. It performs well in the rain, snow, or brush and is all around a very reliable shotgun. I’m not sure where the rumor that Remington produces awful quality came from, but I own several Remington guns and they are all manufactured with quality

  12. vincevega1000 on November 21, 2021 at 6:52 pm

    500 is all I know.

  13. Clark Marshall on November 21, 2021 at 6:54 pm

Sir you are an idiot. You don’t have to reach threw the trigger, or anything like that. I can work the 870 safety, and pump release with one hand and not break grip. Both firearms are fine. Keep with facts please.

    MOSSBERG.. NO COMMENTS

  16. Zachary Ball on November 21, 2021 at 6:56 pm

Mossberg 500 is the best gift my dad has ever bought for me.. love that gun with short barrel on

  17. Tyler Head on November 21, 2021 at 6:56 pm

Not gonna lie, I got use to the M500 being in the army and when I picked up my buddy’s 870 on leave it took me a second or two of wondering where the release was. Much prefer the mossberg, plus I can clear it, take it apart, put it back together, and perform a functions check in less than a minute pretty much blindfolded at this point

  18. Jim Breedlove on November 21, 2021 at 6:57 pm

I have both like both I think my favorite shotgun is winchester 1300.

  19. Taifu 2 on November 21, 2021 at 6:58 pm

Are you wearing a Black Mesa shirt

  20. Alpolo007 on November 21, 2021 at 7:01 pm

A better 870 for comparison would either be the Wingmaster or Police variants.

  21. DragRacer on November 21, 2021 at 7:01 pm

Y’all be like but the mossberg has bayonet lug! Well if I really wanted a bayonet on my 870 I own duct tape to make that happen. If you can’t tell, 870 for the win

  22. SeztoGaming on November 21, 2021 at 7:02 pm

This guy has pointed the gun at me like 5 times

  23. Jacob M on November 21, 2021 at 7:04 pm

I’m sorry Remington runs in my family I can’t sin and use a Mossberg I’ve held a Mossberg before it feels lighter and doesn’t feel strong or bulky like a Remington

  24. Todd McLeod on November 21, 2021 at 7:05 pm

I agree the 500 is a decent reliable pump, and a great value , but I’d suggest you should practice cycling it so to better demonstrate its performance.

  25. Great Scott on November 21, 2021 at 7:06 pm

Rem 870 extractor is NOT welded. It’s quite easy to replace. https://youtu.be/CpqgUv5KUGg Yes, Express is junk (especially newer ones), but Wingmaster or Police model are superior to Mossberg 500/590.

  28. CLSharpman5000 on November 21, 2021 at 7:11 pm

The 870’s ejector is riveted: I sleep
Mossberg 500 can be repaired in the field: Say no more.

    Remington 870 For the win

  32. Mick Don on November 21, 2021 at 7:16 pm

Just bought mine today from a store called *immaglockdealer on Wickr* with 12 ammo I need someone who will teach me how to firing it

  33. Jeff Rowlett on November 21, 2021 at 7:19 pm

    its Ford vs. Chevy
usually what the family had, you will tend to pick that one.
please practice running a pump before you post another video, letme guess "they weren’t broke in "

  34. BaconTwist on November 21, 2021 at 7:20 pm

    Nice black Mesa shirt

  35. efm2169 on November 21, 2021 at 7:20 pm

Also loading the mossberg is easier to load because there is no loading gate door on the bottom to pinch your fingers.

  36. Pepsi Ccola usa on November 21, 2021 at 7:20 pm

    The upgrade Remington 870 Wingmaster
Hands down is a better build and nicer shotgun. The receiver is still milled out from a block of steal. Trigger guard is steel Very durable and slick action. Easy to take apart and change barrels. You can’t do that with a 590a1. The 590 and 500 are good but there not a1’s. Plastic trigger housing and if they break the trigger action falls out. Also if you drop the 500 or 590 just right the gun jams.
I like the 590a1 but it’s limited to being just black and your stock with one barrel

Finally, someone who knows what they are talking about regarding firearms! Thanks

My first shotgun I got was a Moosburg 500A

  39. i win mc cormick. on November 21, 2021 at 7:21 pm

I’ve never once used the safety on a shotgun. Except on a Mossberg cause it kept going on safe every time I fired it.

  40. Mason Ryan on November 21, 2021 at 7:23 pm

    590 for life

  41. Brovid-19 on November 21, 2021 at 7:24 pm

  42. Spooky on November 21, 2021 at 7:25 pm

I run Mossbergs all the fucking time, I’ve got 3 rn. But I dont think it’s any "better" than an 870, especially not an older 870 from the 70s or 80s – those things were silly smooth. In the end they both perform the same function to exactly the same effect. The only reason I go for Mossberg is the one advantage that sets it ahead is it’s open loading gate. You be surprised how much that *really* helps. I still got a nice 870 that I’ve set up for long range though and I love it. My go to/bear gun is a older blued 500a with wood furniture a polished 18.5 barrel and a black aces quadrail, I love her.

  44. Nick V. on November 21, 2021 at 7:27 pm

Comparing the a1 to an express with a couple addons ? Better comparison would’ve been the 870 marine magnum with the a1

  45. Boo Manchu on November 21, 2021 at 7:29 pm

I like how all of you commandos go on the comment section and repeat the same opinions you heard from another “expert” on YouTube. I’m sure all of you on here have owned and shot thousands of rounds through theses guns to reach your expert opinions 😂

  46. Riviera Ltd on November 21, 2021 at 7:29 pm

the 590A1 is not the same as the 500.I have both. The 590a1 and the 870 are equal. The 500 is inferior to the 870

  47. Live Free Or Die on November 21, 2021 at 7:32 pm

Grew up on the 870 so the moss feels weird to me. Not knocking it but just like the glock grip angle I just can’t get used to em. Just feels odd. Either way there is a reason these two are the bar for comparison.

  48. Janet Klien on November 21, 2021 at 7:32 pm

My neighbor told me he got glock 9mm from a reliable seller cashmain on wickr some days ago I just got mine from him thanks bro

  49. bodhranlowd on November 21, 2021 at 7:32 pm

Mossberg has one gun that is not a total joke made from a garbage heap, and that’s the basic 500.

  50. Seth on November 21, 2021 at 7:33 pm

    Mossberg allllll day.
