Just bought this same AR. And I live in N.C and you live in a sandy area like the Sandhills of N.C or closer to the coast of N.C like I in Jacksonville lol. I like this rifle alot wanting to change the trigger and I put a Romeo5 red dot on it and some iron sights and it runs clean and accurate.
Get rid of that cheesy green screen
checking in in 2021 how does everyone feel about these today. Finally found one in stock and that price is tough to beat

I would like to know what kind of hybrid sight that is in the beginning of the video. I’m thinking about getting one.
My Radical SOCOM 12FCR BCG is not stamped. There is noting specific about the BCG listed on their website so I went to directly to Radical Firearms technical department with a question about what testing they put their BCG through. Seems their BCG are outsourced to Azimuth Tech. I contacted Azimuth Tech and they also refused to disclose if the BCG is HPT/MPI or shotpeened. They also will not state if the gas key fasteners are grade 8. I would suspect they still have some major QA issues to resolve.
Hope you don’t mind my asking – Are you in North or South Carolina?
Is it 5.56 or .223?
Mine has the worst trigger that I have ever seen in a gun,feels like dragging across rough sandpaper. Will have to spend more money and buy a better trigger.

I’m a college student and decided to buy one of these as a dmr, put a 6-24×40 and a psa 2 state in it and it’s a moa gun to 400 yards
If you are shooting from a prone position, up at the target and on flat ground. Where the hell is that bullet landing? Never shoot upward with no back stop.
I have a radical 458 socom upper and it has never worked right. Contacted customer support and still no reply after couple months.

Purchased mine in March of 2020 for 700 after taxes and transfer. Have not had one problem so far. Have over 2500 rounds through mine, yes not much but it’s a good start.
So glad mine has the dimpled bolt catch, forward assist and mag release like yours. Another thing is my handguard is the FGR. I can’t find anything about that handguard. It’s simple but I like the look of it too much to change it out.
I wouldn’t think twice about buying another one or five from them. So don’t worry about purchasing this AR, clean it good and run it wet when you first get it. It’s new and has tight tolerances and needs broke in to run smooth like mine does.
Radical Firearms makes a damn fine rifle. I’m not ashamed of my "poors"!!
I’ve sent mine back twice and it still misfires. Radical wont even email or call me back. The 556 socom is garbage and their "lifetime warranty". I’ll never buy their guns again.
Ordered my RF in 223 wylde with an 18". 4 to 6 weeks expected when ordered and got it in 10 days. Had one failure to feed on round 4 and not one problem since with almost 1k through it. It shoots better than I can with irons and a red dot at 100. Gonna put at 4-12 on it next and stretch it out to 400.
I had a guy at work and said he could get a an AR pistol for less than 1000. He sent me a link for this firearm. Not a pistol. But after review I told him to buy it.

I just bought one of these for $600 online. The freaking Smith and Wesson AR-15s are going for $800/1000 right now. Looks like I got a hell of a deal. Good rifle at a normal price at the peak of scarcity.
Just picked up one of these from the local shop – I really like the build-quality/fit-and-finish, especially at this price point. This thing feels better than the M-16 I was issued at Fort Jackson.
at 9:50 in this video, you mention that the 1913 rail seems undersized. I just checked mine with a micrometer, and got readings between .08341" and .08355" between the edges of the bevel. The sectional drawings I can find for this all call for .0835" +- .005". Not sure if you got a bad cut, or I got a good one, but mine reads within 1 thou of spec, which seems pretty good for a part that only calls for 5 thou tolerance.
AK guy here. Bought a Radical Firearms AR in 2016 when I thought Hillary would get elected and 7.62X39 ammo would disappear. My Radical Firearms AR has been flawless ever since.
Is their lifetime warranty legit?
I have that same upper with almost 4000 rounds through it. Zero issues, dead on accuracy.
Just purchased the 10.5 AR pistol. Anyone have any feedback on it?

I know JMO, but I don’t understand why a reviewer would accept a firearm directly from the manufacturer to review. If you aren’t allowed to just get a random one off the rack of a LGS or order it from an online gun dealer and then be reimbursed, it is going to be a flawed review. No way is a manufacturer going to send you one without it being rigorously checked out, and that is not real life.

Between Adams Arms Dark moon AR 15 and this Radical Arms So com AR 15 which do you think is better ?
The gang over at Radical Arms must have had a huge sigh of relief upon seeing the video.
I’m late to the party as usual but I own this exact rifle and I could not be happier with it. Well over 3,000 rounds and zero problems. With heavier (62-77 grain) bullets it shoots 1 1/4" all day long. When I miss it’s never the gun’s fault.
For anyone thinking about one of these I say go for it. The "old" Radical is gone. These rifles will go toe-to-toe with anyone.
Just picked up one for $550 in 2021, just for the hell of it. Nice change from the $1500+ price points.
For a "cheap" or "budget" AR… impressive. The stock trigger…nice!

Been looking for a new budget rifle, and found this company, so I did my research and found this video, already following your channel and I’m pretty much sold on purchasing one if these based off your review cause I trust your judgment on this.. it’s 2020 now and the rifle is listed at 649.99 and not 599 anymore unfortunately.
