This is a video regarding 2 look-a-like rifles. One is $500 budget rifle with accessories from both reputable companies and Amazon. The other is a Patriot Ordinance Factory 416 Edge, with only quality mid-priced accessories.
The question is are there differences between the budget rifle and the quality Gas Piston rifle? Or is it the difference in price just in the names? We’ll tell you this… It’s not just a name when you pay more money for the right stuff.

They both have the same entry grade barrels the RF could be on pare technically with a upgraded bcg. Iv only owned BCM or Colt not POF so Iâm not speaking from experience on POF . I get it there spendy but even the middle class man can save up with minor future planning but for what the reputation? My radical lowers fit sloppy but the uppers from RF fit tighter than my BCMs uppers. Iv just never radicalized spending over 15hundred on a AR carbine that doesnât have a cold hammer forged chrome lined barrel, like you get from BCM, DD or even Colt. Love my BCMâs but itâs ridiculous that a sub 500 RF or PSA could hold its own on track against it I feel like when I broken my bank in the past it was for a âhigh endâ barrels and bcgâs because everyone told me how finicky ARs have a wrap for, 7 years later Iv run nothing but budget work horses with my spendy aluminum being the safe queens. I do think chrome lined barrels are critical all my family who served in the marines really emphasized the importance of chrome lined bores thereâs a reason the military hasnât distances itself from that trait in barrels.
How did you fill in the safety logo and the model and serial number in? Decal kit or paint? I like the way the white pops on the black.
