Might be because the chamber was too tight be cause of the grime..but I’m jst guessing. I know alot of technical stuff but dnt shoot alot .not as much as I’d like

  2. B Funk on November 14, 2021 at 10:37 pm

  5. Joe Bech on November 14, 2021 at 10:38 pm

On pistols, I have an ultrasonic bath that I literally take everything apart. Dry then air in a can.
    Oil/grease depending on the toy.
    Every time.

  6. Joe Bech on November 14, 2021 at 10:39 pm

    And again
    And again
    Ohhhhh god
    Maybe a drop of oil?

  7. Sam Janski on November 14, 2021 at 10:41 pm

That’s why you don’t let carbon build up for over a year 🤦‍♂️

  8. Jeremy K. on November 14, 2021 at 10:41 pm

Those extractors generally get broken from people loading 1 in the chamber before putting the magazine in to load out of the magazine with the extractor/loading part of the BCG. If you want to get the extra round in your initial load you do a full 30 in the mag, drop the mag, load another round in the mag, and then put the mag back in and generally it needs a hard tap to get it to set in the mag well to lock in place. Hope this helps with preventing future gun failures.

    Aye… STI!

  10. BANGERIFIC on November 14, 2021 at 10:44 pm

Moral of the story…CLEAN YOUR GUNS! Also, performing thorough investigations on firearms is vital.

  11. Pacific Blue on November 14, 2021 at 10:45 pm

Hope you never have use that pistol for home defense bc your hearing may not recover for a couple of weeks. I was thinking about doing my own AR pistol in 300 blkout but the ammo price is ridiculous.

    Church!

  13. N C on November 14, 2021 at 10:49 pm

Did you shoot any steel cased ammo

  14. themouas on November 14, 2021 at 10:51 pm

Broken extractors are common on 7.5 inch AR pistols.

  15. Alexander Mar on November 14, 2021 at 10:51 pm

You’re going how to explain how to clean an AR, but yet you don’t clean your AR?

  16. B_sweett on November 14, 2021 at 10:54 pm

what kind of sight is this ?

  17. Armory52 on November 14, 2021 at 10:59 pm

Great video. Your running a sightmark or whatever who cares. It’s your gun. FB is for giving ppl shit not on here. 1000 rounds or your estimate is kinda asking for trouble. Like you implied a good cleaning and that may not have happened but I’m no metallurgist. I’m seeing mixed reviews on Radical but they say they have tightened up the quality control overall. I still would def consider one. Keep up the good work.

  18. bernard keenan on November 14, 2021 at 10:59 pm

Extractor failures happen usually when using steel cased ammo. Steel on steel can cause stress. Also tight chamber due to carbon build up compounds the problem. Order extra repair parts springs pins extractors & o rings, also bolt gas rings.

    50 Beowulf AR pistol

  20. Bozscaggz Z on November 14, 2021 at 11:03 pm

Bad use of the useless forward assist.

  21. Tom Hannah on November 14, 2021 at 11:03 pm

I thought a pistol can’t have a stock on it?

  22. Dysfunctional Veteran on November 14, 2021 at 11:04 pm

i like my sight mark. it works

  23. Gary Poborsky on November 14, 2021 at 11:04 pm

    absolutely

  24. Ivan Stano on November 14, 2021 at 11:04 pm

    556 or 300 blackout?

  25. Jonathan Davis on November 14, 2021 at 11:05 pm

I’ma put a compensator on my 7.5 and a tunable gasblock. It’s super fun but I let one go without ear pro and holy shit I’d hate to get into a shoot out with this thing.

  26. Reach The People on November 14, 2021 at 11:06 pm

is the video still up where you discuss the mods?

  27. RPG-AR15 on November 14, 2021 at 11:09 pm

    Use Flex-Hone

  28. Joshua Taft on November 14, 2021 at 11:09 pm

I have a sight mark like that works fine for me. .not as fancy as I’d like but its fine

  29. Just Sayin on November 14, 2021 at 11:11 pm

I’ve heard that these radical firearms pistols can run everything perfect except for seller and bellot ammo. Dont know if that’s what you were using.

  30. Sterling Rudd on November 14, 2021 at 11:13 pm

    What rail are you running?

  31. USMC 7207 on November 14, 2021 at 11:13 pm

I have this same model…fired countless rounds through it zero malfunctions!! But I clean every other outing..

  32. G Shock on November 14, 2021 at 11:14 pm

7.5 barrel for 5.56 is too short!

  33. DIY RAY on November 14, 2021 at 11:20 pm

  34. Maritess Mercado on November 14, 2021 at 11:20 pm

  35. Maximo Wayas on November 14, 2021 at 11:20 pm

Hi sir can I borrow your rifle…so awesome rifle

  36. Olofty85 on November 14, 2021 at 11:21 pm

I think you’re extractor got destroyed due to the fact 7.5s beat the shit out of themselves I’ve heard you can ether lower your gas which seems like a pain in the ass or adjust your buffer an buffer spring that’s what I did with my 10.5 inch and she sings a sweet tune of freedom every other weekend
Like your content keep up the good work

  37. Myron Gaines on November 14, 2021 at 11:22 pm

Cmon guy, clean your dam AR!

  38. Dan O'Connell on November 14, 2021 at 11:22 pm

On the Springfield Saint 7.5…they mentioned the first sign of over gassing was the bolt closed upon the empty chamber…time to adjust the gas block. Springfield has it’s manual on-line to read about how to adjust it if you have an adjustable block?

  39. E Moola on November 14, 2021 at 11:23 pm

Hi I’m thinking about getting this ar hows it holding up and how’s the recoil? Also what brace are u using?

  40. Dick Hart on November 14, 2021 at 11:24 pm

Is that a Subaru, just curious?

  41. Ivan Stano on November 14, 2021 at 11:24 pm

I’ve heard they make their bcg in house now and it is supposedly better quality.

  42. Gary Poborsky on November 14, 2021 at 11:25 pm

is censorbook going to allow this

  43. Benjamin McCall on November 14, 2021 at 11:25 pm

Nothing like live firing down into the woods… No problem right lol!!!

  44. Gage Mason on November 14, 2021 at 11:25 pm

The reason it failed is it’s a 7.5” AR. They are notorious for extremely short parts life. Due to the extremely short dwell time of the gas gas system, the pressures that the gun is required to operate at are substantially higher compared to what a longer gas system can do over a longer period of time with less pressure. Put at least a 10.5” barrel on it and you should be good. But even 10.5” guns tend to have half the parts life of a 16” gun.

  45. Josh Major on November 14, 2021 at 11:26 pm

Damn man I forgot about how awesome the old videos were, I’ve been following ya so long unless I looked it up I couldn’t even guess haha I miss this style video and the old Talon. When I could get him to respond to an email 😉 Lol Hope all’s well man, I’m picking up a Radical tomorrow actually. Should be fun haha

  46. Richard Paulino on November 14, 2021 at 11:26 pm

    Great video with educational information

  47. thelastpatriot on November 14, 2021 at 11:28 pm

It was probably just a poorly made extractor

  48. Dario Ortiz on November 14, 2021 at 11:29 pm

Happened to me on my 10.5, it was mainly because I shoot steel cased and was really dirty.

  49. JACCO on November 14, 2021 at 11:31 pm

The same thing happened to me last time I did my actual pistol qual. Kept getting double feeds because it wasn’t extracting. Turned out it was a bad magazine.

I know you found the broken extractor and that it is an AR and not a handgun, but also check your mags to make sure they are feeding right. A bad feed might have contributed to the broken extractor.

  50. Alpha Bears on November 14, 2021 at 11:33 pm

I usually do some basic cleaning after every other range time. A snake bore and clothe and some lubricant. After every 1000 rounds, I will do a major cleaning.
