i love dogs and cats both, but i prefer cats since in general cats will just chill around you and see that as social behavior and so do i so that means i can just sit and work on stuff with my cat on my lap and no one will complain but in general dogs ask for more attention

My mom & siblings had two dogs. One is Zeus, the other is his daughter Aries (note: she was named after Ares and my sister didn’t think about Athena). Recently some housing trouble came up, and they can’t move into their new house for about 2 weeks.
Mom has decided to only take Zeus.
I get to keep Aries with me and keep her in the family. This way they can come visit her but they don’t have to do anything for her.
Please note: i fucking love this dog, this was quite the best outcome for her. It’s not that they don’t love her, they didn’t have the energy to deal with her (she’s only 6 months old).

One of my dogs, Luna, is an extremely clingy pit bull. She is 3 now, but when she was 1 or so, we think she got lost and couldnt find her way back or someone stole her. I think someone stole her and tried to make her have puppies (cause she is a beautiful dog). She was missing for 2 months and we thought she was dead! Until one day the water tower guy spotted her and told us where she was at. Ever since we found her, she has had bad seperation anxiety and refuses to leave me.
Dogs get clingy for different reasons- dont be THAT person to lose interest in them because of that
