    Great video
Perfect description of the equipment and sport.
    Keep up the good work.
Having used a AYA detachable sidelock, I am happy to see a similar minded sportsperson.

Good stuff , I note your Gumboots ( Wellies) are put away muddy . Bacteria in animal poo and the nitrates in pee can destroy your boots in no time ,( leather ones as well) also I wouldn’t want to be the one who has carried an animal , or plant , disease from one farm to another , even weed seeds carried in mud can be a problem , so please clean and disinfect after each shoot and make your boots last longer .

I know it’s a small thing, but I made my own shooting Stick with a magnet on the tip ferule. Much more streamlined than carrying additional magnets.. it has also has came in handy at times for other things too. A fellow gun once lost his glasses in a deep ditch, rather than ruining his good tweeds, I was able to simply use the magnetic stick to retrieve them. No-one had to get filthy and wet, and also saved his days shoot as your not much use when you can’t see.

Hello Sir. I tried searching for the ‘Ray Pavan’ gun slip and the gun case, as mentioned by you in the video. I could not find them. Could you please tell me the company/brand of the gun slips and the gun case? Thank you sir.

Can you do a video on how to get involved with shooting

  8. Cody Hoskins on October 27, 2021 at 5:38 pm

Kept saying "waterproof" and "breathable" for the same garment. IN my experience there a garment is either waterproof, breathable, and durable…Pick two…

I have to say that British hunting traditions are impressive. The hunting clothing looks like what my Great grandfather wore to his hunting camp. He shot deer, not pheasants though.

there is a cost of escaping an abusive relationship with an abusive psychopath. it is a simple trade-off, do not stand up for yourself and then write off your life to being financially abused, mentally, physically and psychologically abused to the extent where you will have to make a break for it anyway, or risk death. it is a mental illness, I knew that I absolutely do not want this person months ago, I didn’t have any support network to back me up on my claims then.. since then you have witnessed abject cruelty, sadism, harassment, intentionally acting or attempting to inflict distress, mental or whatever, this is a nightmare for me, but I will brave face my way through it… because it is either a restraining order, or a lifetime of suffering whole range of abuses and deprivations.

Usually i take a combine or a hunting truck somthing in the ford variety
One should work all day in the field then shoot a few birds

AYA, there can be no other. SxS is true, civilized shooting.

  16. G Man on October 27, 2021 at 5:48 pm

Great video. You ask how others gear up for hunting. I live in northern Saskatchewan Canada and dress in the traditional 1940’s style when I hunt birds. I like wool and leather so that’s what I wear. Wool mackinaw jacket. Wool pants. Wool felt hat. SxS 12 gauge shotgun, which I keep in a waxed canvas and leather case when on the hunt.
Milder weather I wear LL Bean rubber bottom leather top boots. I wear an LL Bean waxed canvas upland vest which has subtle flashes of blaze orange here and there. I carry shells in both pockets as well I have a Frost River waxed canvas and leather shell satchel. Weather dependant, a wool felt Aussie style hat or a wool Stormy Kromer.

Good times. Been thinking of taking up shooting game birds (Mostly for the eating.) Is this something attainable for the average guy?

  19. Mab Darogan on October 27, 2021 at 5:51 pm

So helpful I’m 19 and starting to get into hunting here in wales, always loved the attire and feel so out of place being one of the few young lads who wear a flat cap and all, can’t wait for lockdown to be over

  20. Ali Qazilbash on October 27, 2021 at 5:51 pm

i think the fiduciary withdrawal is all bogus, and staged… because then he making it an all or nothing, while he bargaining for "over look" things because he is apparently so sensitive to mistakes that he is willing to bite his losses and kick the dirt and walk away.. really? if you were that sensitive then I wouldn’t be working so hard this evening..

  21. Dan Hill on October 27, 2021 at 5:52 pm

Do you find situations where wellies just don’t cut it? The one time I recall wishing I’d have worn lace up boots was hunting with a syndicate in the Peak District. There was a good bit of walking and steep terrain. I don’t remember asking this, are the girls fixed choke or M/C? If the former, what are they choked?

  24. Ali Qazilbash on October 27, 2021 at 5:57 pm

look, the west is my home, I love it here, I am invested in it… I could have already fucked off to pakistan, instead of risking my life for over two years… I can agree to making extracurricular arrangements for tax heavens whatever the norms of financial savings are but.. I want to continue making a difference here, and not make bogus trade offs! I don’t aspire to be a politician, so I don’t want to consider that as a factor or a fact influencing the outcome… integrity and honesty are the best policy…

my will against yours, big whoop? can’t tell me nothing…

  25. wholeNwon on October 27, 2021 at 5:57 pm

Standing about while others drive pheasants toward you seems less engaging than following great gun dogs in the field as they enthusiastically find and point the quarry. But to each his own. I do agree with your choice of guns. I’m always more comfortable when my companions are also using doubles. When the action is open we can all see that and know that the gun is safe. To those who don’t shoot SXS guns well, I’d say, learn. You’ll be rewarded using guns that come up faster and go on target more quickly.

Any thoughts of opening up a leather goods storefront? I got the perfect locale and you already got the merchandise for a few years! I think it averages out to 20 pounds of leather per pheasant! Great video though. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I love to get bladdered on scrumpy cider steadily thru out the day,I’ve found it helps my accuracy no end with the the lower birds cutting thru the line .Been shooting for 2yrs now really enjoying it ,but I’m finding it difficult to get on with the other guns hence no luck on the invite front yet !..Ah well you can’t have it all ways and I’ve got plenty more cash to spend on it .Good video ,I’m going to buy some of that gear .

dealing with me is not easy, .. I understand.. and I am sorry 😃 fun though aint it!?

  36. Elfin4 on October 27, 2021 at 6:04 pm

Please explain how dress attire shows respect to your quarry. The animals or birds you are hunting wouldn’t care less what you were wearing, thats just a stupid "school boy" thing to show off your expensive designer clothes, nothing else, so let’s not pretend that the quarry gives you respect for what you wear or even the guns you use to kill them.

If young people are to get into shooting as a sport, you and all the other stuck up school boys and girls or bankers need to accept that not everyone has inherited money off mummy and daddy or has a job that pays more in bonus than some people earn in twenty years, some people have to earn a salary the hard way. Some people would even struggle to buy the shotgun shells and as for £75 and £100 tip, boy you must have more money than sense.

Come on be realistic here, what normal person could afford to get into such a sport where it is expected you give a £100 tip or where yo have to wear designers clothes just to blend in and go stomp in a field and shoot some quarry that you think gives a shit what you wear.

  37. Ali Qazilbash on October 27, 2021 at 6:05 pm

the local police (flying monkeys) at present are supporting melinda gates open extortion, they are in favor of me having intercourse with her, that way she may become a stake holder in my wealth, which is what she wants the most, and since her and her entire family is obsessively running a recketeering ring which is to protect the police agents, at an individual agent level, as in they give consideration to the agent’s nationality, ideology, position in the organization, exposure to liability, my attitude towards gross negligence, the probability that it will inflict an injury which will weaken my will power, thereby making it easier for her to overpower my will. …. and extort as much money as she wants from me,… typically, their common approach or mutual understanding stems from their prejudices against muslims, in general and their biases against my political associations, … desire to take revenge, keep me from taking legal action at any cost.. basically, they want me to fuck melinda so that I can get off of their backs and she would guarantee their safety and joe biden shall provide protection from scrutiny.

I think they are high on some cheap drugs..

actually, partially the present outcome is my fault, I got caught up in the constant deception and deceit from the Gates family, I relied on their support too much for too long… as a result, I couldn’t do right by national media outlets, like CBC news, CTV news and Global news… and since, I faced a lot of interference from just about everyone and anyone, I had to occassionally give preference to those who were exhibiting somewhat decency at their particular time when others were engaging in reckless and outrageous misconduct.. so I may have taken a more friendly position with respect to the police, which pissed off CBC news for one, Global news got mad when I didn’t opt for the shake down, as these local low level agents were forming into these factions, against local businesses.. CTV, I just failed to manage any time for them…

human being is the only animal who carries the peculiarities for things that seem good and things that are bad,…. pain and pleasure, it is inherently able to differentiate… so, I don’t blame them or suspect them of working against me, or being overly selfish and ignoring my humanity.. look, I fucked up, .. I misjudged the mafia foundation, by a huge margin! .. and my constant harassment and extortion campaign is the direct result of my own arrogance.. I first made my decisions based on character and public image, like warren buffett, as a safe bet.. he turned out to be nonsense.. so that was disappointing.. then I looked at philanthropist, offered them infinite benefit of the doubt until infinity ran out.. and then they turned out to be absolute frauds and cheats.. instead, they secretly orchestrated perpetual conflicts.. imitated bad actors, remained silent and hidden.. because they knew more about me than I did.. they saw my huge accumulation of wealth, and they figured, we could easily cut corners, look the other way, invent bogus arguments and simulate wrongs and bad behavior… and soon, we could easily direct his funds to our accounts..

I predicted the mafia concept a year ago, electric music video time period..

ah well, better late than never..

  42. Ali Qazilbash on October 27, 2021 at 6:11 pm

look, this is a place of distractions, not incentives.. as in, the more distracted I am with local affairs, the easier it is for the con-men to wrongfully deprive me of my rights due to either a person obtaining or holding legal property right which they should not possess due to interference or breach… [sic]

either allow me to benefit from mutual trust and sympathies (locals… I am talking to you) or come over with a socially appropriate reason to sound my door bell.. because I am dealing with hardcore psychopaths here.. they are psychopaths they will kill us all just to save themselves and cover up their tracks.. there are grounds for capital punishment, these jokers are throwing tantrums like I give a fuck..

Great video, some good tips. One thing I’ve discovered recently, magnetic ferrules. Added them to my shooting stick to pick up spent cartridges. http://www.thestickman.co.uk/magnet.htm, means I don’t take the car ariel with me anymore.

I love how you Brits get dressed up for your hunting. All our pheasant hunting over here is what you call "rough shooting". And in my area head high briars and thickets that would shred that getup in about 5 minutes lol. One day, I would love to come over and try out your driven birds.
