Personally I have been shooting rifles and pistols with a safty since I was about 5. I prefer a safty on my carry pistol that’s often aimed at my junk and flipping it off is like 2nd nature or better on any carry pistol I use

Have both G2c and G3. No issues so far with both. Got the laser sites on both with the discount they give with it. The other thing I did to my G3 was put the rubber grip on it. I did not like the texture of the handle. Comfortable and easy to shoot pistol.

I picked up a G3 after a bone headed move of getting the Remington Rp9. I LOVE MY G3! I have put 5000+ rounds through it with only three failures (was using Geco 115gr). After pulling the trigger once or twice after the failure the rounds would fire. FYI, if anyone is having an issue finding 15rnd mags for it, the Sig P226 15rnd mags work, with only a millimeter or two between the base of the mag and the bottom of the grip.
This makes me want to sell or trade in my p365. Get the taurus g3 and the gx4. Pay a little more than the p365, but that way I’ll have the best of both worlds. A nice gun for tight clothing, and a nice gun for winter or for daily carry. I thought I would like the p365, but I just hate shooting it. I even got the xl frame thinking it was gonna be better. Turns out that full size gun or thicker guns in general, are a lot nicer to shoot. Carrying wise, I can manage carrying anything.
I bought a G3 about 3 months ago, it came with the 15 round magazine installed. I thought it was supposed to come with two, but I only saw one. The clerk at the store and I both looked for the other, didn’t find it, so I bought a 17 round magazine off the shelf. This morning, I watched this video, saw where it was "hidden" in your box, and looked in mine. I THOUGHT we had looked under there, but I guess we didn’t because THERE IT WAS – the 17 round magazine. LOL!!!! Yes, I feel stupid now. But, now I have two 17 round magazines.
Have you ever tested the Taurus 92? I was just wondering what your view was on that Taurus. To big for "my" hands but was curious what you thought of that pistol.

I have the G3C I like it I have other more expensive guns but not to darn bad.
I bought one today. It came with 2 extra clips &…dang was it hard to get the bullets in the clip. The springs were super stiff. I’m hoping they loosen up after it breaks in & i use a little oil. Just something to keep in mind.

Just picked up the G3 but for $400 😬 that was $50 in taxes though. I have yet to shoot it.

Having grown up in an era where every auto pistol had a safety, I find myself swiping for it even when carrying my Walther PDP.
If given the option of buying a pistol with a safety or without, I’ll choose with every time. I purposely bought the FNS9 with the manual safety and it’s offered without as well.
For me it’s particularly useful when reholstering and puts my mind at ease because I know if something were to get caught in the trigger guard, it won’t go bang! It may cost 1/100th of a second on the draw but saves many seconds more when you don’t have to “look” the pistol back in the holster. This is particularly true when appendix carried and your nuts are “under the gun”!
We’ve all seen the “I just fucking shot myself” video of the sherrif getting on the trigger before clearing his holster and a manual safety would have prevented that 99.999% of the time.

I had a 24/7pro. While I hated the wierd ribbed grip, it was a great gun. Wish I never sold it. Might pick up a few G3’s.

This guns is now 💲340 and upgraded version T.O.R.O. 💲450
ended up with my grandfathers taurus pt92 afs. I like it but have a problem with it stove piping. bought a new clip which helped a little but seems like it doesnt like 115gr fmj. it has shot hollow points no problem just dont get it… maybe 115gr is not enough?
