They changed the trigger, it now comes with a cheap mil spec trigger. Mine has a pull of 8.5 lbs which I will change out. THE BCG and trigger guard are also proprietary. They also advertise the gun comes with an ambi charging handle in a picture on their web site and in Sig’s video on youtube. It no longer comes with the ambi charging handle.
Can I shoot 308 on this 716 tread? Just curious cuz of what I heard on the video. Great one, btw.
Just handled one at my local gun shop and it is pretty nice. Nice trigger on it not sure if it was new or used but it was priced under 1600.00 I think around 1540 ish.

Great review. I am totally sold on Sigs, and their quality. That being said, Does the 716 I come with the scope out of the box, and bipod.? Or are they separate? Also, is this 716 gas operated, for less recoil ? Thank you.
As a Scar 17 owner, this looks like a pretty good deal. Aside from a scope, all this needs is a couple of qd cups and it’s gtg.

I think Bolt cutouts is to stop the bolt from jamming because of Ice/snow. AI Arctic Warfare has the same features. Since these rifles have to operate in the Himalayas.
So much for "not really getting into the optic."
The SCAR17 is vastly superior to any AR I have the LMT mars, Knights SR25, HK MR762, and a few other custom builds and it’s no contest the SCAR breaks all the rules it’s the lightest weight lightest recoiling most durable And accurate

the 716i we recently got actually comes with the sig sierra3 4.5-14 scope.
When you ran it over your chrono what fps did you get with the 175gr bullets? Great video. I’m guessing about 2450fps.
Why did it stop coming with the 2 stage trigger now its a single stage with like a damn 10lb pull lol

Was this the stock trigger? my gun came with a nearly 9lb trigger out of the box
I put a few rounds through my new one last weekend. I was very happy. I added the Primary Arms ACSS for .308. It seemed a great combo for me.
Sad to hear it’s a DI rifle. The weight savings you get have never justified the over complication of a DI system and diagnosis of heat and carbon related problems introduced into the reciever, that always creep up at the most inopportune times. Fail by Sig..
Why doesn’t it have the yellow TREAD plate on the hand guard? That’s how it’s shown on SIGs website and it looks sick.
