My dad got that rifle as a Christmas present a few years ago, and 2 days ago dropped a nice 11 pointer with it in it’s tracks about 200 yds away. Good gun and caliber

I have the same rifle, but shoot hornady superformance sst 117gr. I had it since 2012. It has the capability to harvest elk as well. I got a buck this past saturday with it.

It’s sad that the only applauds you’ll ever get will be fake.

Those bullets you were talking about that blow up are those billistic tip Hornady. I have a 25-06 and I use them for deer hunting and I used em for my 243 Ali’s

I’m 10 and my grandpa gave me a 25-06 just like that one

I’ve got the same gun, mine is a 308 though I just got a Nikon scope for it. By the way, do you have Instagram?

Please be careful to not develop bad habits that could be very dangerous to yourself and others. Near the start of the vid you cycled the action and pulled the trigger. You then removed the magazine….you got that sequence exactly backwards. You could have just have easily chambered a live round from that magazine not realizing (or having forgotten) that it was there. When you pulled the trigger you would have had a negligent discharge. It’s great you love your rifle and hunting, but you might use some training and then follow what you learn every time. Being safe with our firearms is our first responsibility if we’re going to own and use them.

When you say 2900fps. 3000ft is a 1000yrds so you are looking at nick down power to 700yrds

It’s hard to watch this video with the lack of knowledge you have on firearms… Those numbers on the box are the inches it drops at those distances with a 200yrd zero. No they don’t make rounds that blow up inside the animal, the closest you could get would be the 85gr Nosler ballistic tips loaded by Federal.
