I always wanted this car, until I found out how much a Fusion Pump cost for this vehicle……..

  3. John McCague on November 11, 2021 at 9:20 pm

I had a 90 GTZ …loved it til the Quad 4 blew the head gasket….a chronic issue…it sure looked great and loved the manual trans.

  4. Wilton Mcgee on November 11, 2021 at 9:20 pm

This was my first car, black and gray manual. Drove it till it would not drive no more.

  5. Tom Rugger on November 11, 2021 at 9:20 pm

I had a 89 GT 5 speed. Top speed was 120 due to chip. Fun car and nice looking.

  6. Teddy M on November 11, 2021 at 9:27 pm

    It’s a cool looking car

  7. blue03r6 on November 11, 2021 at 9:29 pm

These old cars get better mpg than a lot of modern cars🤔

  8. Andy Brian on November 11, 2021 at 9:29 pm

I will never forget closing the door on a brand new 1992 Beretta GT. The door sounded like it was going to literally fall apart or that a large portion of the actual side window had cracked apart. Or the manual transmission. About as smooth as butter mixed with large amount of sharpnel and broken nails. GM quality at it’s best. Utter junk .

  9. Gary Jorges on November 11, 2021 at 9:29 pm

Them motors were powerful and also very weak timing chains. Hated them motors! !

  10. Brian Weir on November 11, 2021 at 9:30 pm

A shame such an attractive car is plagued by gm cost cutting.

  11. CSXRockford on November 11, 2021 at 9:31 pm

    I love my 99 lumina 9C3 …

  12. chapmanmerchant on November 11, 2021 at 9:31 pm

Holy shit that Hass to be the absolute worst interior of a vehicle I’ve ever seen I would rather drive in 1991 tractor than that

  13. Derek Joon on November 11, 2021 at 9:31 pm

Quad 4 was one of the worst engines GM ever made, I preferred the Beretta GT with the 3.1L

  14. Cindy Eisenberg on November 11, 2021 at 9:31 pm

I a 1993 took one for a test drive. It was a very nice car. But, I ended up with a 6 cylinder Pontiac Grand Am 2 door sedan. I miss being able to buy an inexpensive sports coupe. Now, some auto companies want to get rid of the 4 door sedan.

  15. Sam Odio on November 11, 2021 at 9:34 pm

2.8 and 3.1 always sounded pretty good with a nice little green light punch. Just saw the quad 4 engine in it. Absolutely garbage

  16. Picard + Discovery Fandom on November 11, 2021 at 9:35 pm

I’d rather have the turbo awd Eclipse.

  17. Sutton’s Super Stars on November 11, 2021 at 9:36 pm

I had a 91 GT.. I really liked it. Motor mount went bad.. drove like hell after that. Love the look and the rims.

  18. Sam Sveistrup on November 11, 2021 at 9:38 pm

I had a 92 automatic with the exhaust leak and the wave decals felt baller it was smooth

  19. Diesel Dendy on November 11, 2021 at 9:38 pm

  21. Charlie Charlie on November 11, 2021 at 9:40 pm

  22. Maverick 1957 on November 11, 2021 at 9:40 pm

Berettas were are/ such crap! Indicative of most vehicles beginning in the late 1970s.

  23. Bill McNamara on November 11, 2021 at 9:40 pm

Thought he was going to smoke the clutch in the 1/4 mile

  24. Noah T on November 11, 2021 at 9:41 pm

Pumping up your seats while pumping up your shoes….1990 at it’s finest.

  25. justen ramirez Lackey on November 11, 2021 at 9:41 pm

  28. AREA RC-51 on November 11, 2021 at 9:43 pm

4:03 comes standard with the Service Engine Soon light illuminated. A tradition GM has carried through to present day.

  29. WPGinterceptor on November 11, 2021 at 9:45 pm

these were such junk! they only lasted a few years and then all went to the wrecker!

  30. TraScents on November 11, 2021 at 9:48 pm

It was a few of these on my town when I was growing up

  31. Eric Cigar-Man on November 11, 2021 at 9:49 pm

Chevy engineers: what do we call this suspension?
    Um, level IIII

  32. Clay on November 11, 2021 at 9:49 pm

I dated a girl that had one of these way back in the 90s. All white with white wheels. Manual transmission. It was a ripper! Surprisingly fast.

  33. 3v4761 on November 11, 2021 at 9:51 pm

A short shifter would have made a difference

  34. Retro Christmas on November 11, 2021 at 9:51 pm

These 90s economy cars will be worth a fortune in 20 years. Cash for clunkers removed alot of good condition 90s cars. Please if you have one of these kind of cars berrettas, corsicas, grand prix, sun bird, escort, focus, etc please take care of it. Obama screwed us car guys over.

  35. Bruce H. on November 11, 2021 at 9:53 pm

I had the 4 door – Corsica LTZ 3.1 V6 with 5 speed, in black. Never had a problem. Sold it with 200k kms.

  36. Dave T. on November 11, 2021 at 9:57 pm

@3:57 you can hear the window clunk as the door shuts awesome Chevy quality!

  37. W.S. Soap Company on November 11, 2021 at 9:57 pm

Fun fact: some people paid money for these.

  38. Paul Danek on November 11, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Fun car but those HO quad 4s would make your ears bleed at full throttle

  39. Rob Timm on November 11, 2021 at 9:59 pm

    Owned one. Quick car

  40. VinMan on November 11, 2021 at 9:59 pm

That shifter is out of an 18 wheeler…

  41. William Schirmacher on November 11, 2021 at 10:01 pm

Loved at car. That quad 4 ran good

  42. Jimmy Cline on November 11, 2021 at 10:01 pm

3:49 It came with a penis pump for them hot dates in a hot car! I miss the 90s!

  43. bg147 on November 11, 2021 at 10:02 pm

    Neck snapping power.

  44. David Jensen on November 11, 2021 at 10:02 pm

My Dad used to have a black 89 Beretta GT. I loved that car.

  45. Johnny Mason on November 11, 2021 at 10:03 pm

Unfortunately, the Beretta GTZ came only with the 180hp Quad 4 engine with manual transmission! I would want one with the 160hp Quad 4 engine with automatic transmission! The slight torque steer you get in this car would be livable if I could get air conditioning and a CD player!

  46. Daron Harvey on November 11, 2021 at 10:04 pm

My mom had an 88 beretta 2.0. Goid solid car. Only issue it ever had that comes to memory was the muffler blowing open on the highway whitch sounded like a tire blowing. We were on a trip from ohio to wva at the time. Otherwise good car

  47. Mark N on November 11, 2021 at 10:07 pm

My first car was a stock 89 Beretta with a 5 speed. Very fun first car!

  48. Joshua N. Ajang on November 11, 2021 at 10:12 pm

    GM Quad 4 = American 4-AGE?

  49. Jsoucats on November 11, 2021 at 10:12 pm

First car I had was this Beretta with the wheels. Wrecked it soon after. Mom still thinks I hit a curb. I don’t know what I hit but it wasn’t good.

  50. Ardhana Hariwidagdo on November 11, 2021 at 10:13 pm

The engine this Beretta has is basically what happened if Chevy makes an equivalent to Toyota’s Beams 3S or Honda’s K24 engine back then. It’s rare to find a 2.4 liter NA engine with more than 150hp back then.
