Will they make a FLEX ver for the 500 in .410 size? seams the .410s have way to few options and accessories other than the improved ammo options that are out now. Would be great to go from pistol grip and slugs in the house to buttstock and shot for the kids to hunt with in the field.
I need one now smh
you still NEED 2 shotguns…. always have one set up in the house for home defense, the reason i bought 2 is during hunting seasons (dove,duck,turkey,squirrel,rabbit..exc) i don’t want to change my shotgun around every day before and after i go hunting….besides isn’t having MORE guns always a good thing?
love my 500 flex, cant wait go to shooting this weekend!
Can you put a regular 590 walnut stock and foregrip on this flex system? Any help would be appreciated
I like it!
with the 6 position stock with pistol grip can you take the stock of and leave the pistol grip?….the one I looked at on bass pros web site looks like you can
Reached out to Mossberg for you: To utilize the FLEX system, you must purchase a 500 or 590 FLEX shotgun with the TLS (Tool-less Locking System). Price of FLEX shotgun is approximately $75 more than comparable 500. Cannot be retrofit.
Got mine yesterday. What they don’t show you are the awesome fiber-optic sights on the 24" barrel.
Not yet
I have a flex tactical. I wanted to add a 23" barrel to it. I purchased a Mossberg replacement barrel but it did not fit the gun. The barrell did not fit the Mag Tube. It did not screw on to it like my tactical barrel. The circumference was not wide enough. When I called Mossberg they said I would have to buy a additional mag tube to fit the replacement barrel. And then if i wanted to go back to the tactical barrel i’d have to put the old Mag Tube back on. Sucks. I really wanted to see them switch out the barrel in this video but it did not happen.
Getting a 590 flex soon as my first shotgun. Excited asf.
Will the larger recoil pad fit the tactical stock?
what a boring commercial
Mossberg never disappoints.
i would like to buy a 18" barrel for my mossberg 500 but everywere i go they are sold out! its been this way for a while now and even when i went to my local gun store he the person there told me they couldnt find any either. can anyone help?
They have a .22 with a Flex stock as well, cant get any in Canada as of yet. looks like a very good Idea. Its the lego set for firearms.
Bought one about a week ago. best shotgun ever.
Why didn’t you change the barrel?
I dont know why mossberg promotes their guns with pistol grips. You cant operate the tang safety with a pistol grip
can you put 535 barrels on 500 receivers
Own a mossberg, Gonna get a tac stock and forgrip for it
will they fit the 20 gauge shotguns
Good question, Did you ever get an answer?
Felt I needed to remove the recoil pad for buttstroke capabilities.
I like it so much that I have 3 of them now. The 590a1 will prob leave my collection.
I love this gun. This gun is very practical and highly reliable. AAA+++!
Am so happy I got my gun from *immaglockdealer on wickr* some months ago thanks man am grateful
Nope I bought my pistol grip seprate
In THE NAME OF JESUS ! I LOVE MY MOSSBERG 500 ! Hands DOWN.IT PUTS GREAT MEALS ON THE TABLE FOR MY FAMILY I THANK MOSSBERG . I USE REMINGTON AMMO SLUGGS SHOTS LIKE A DREAM ……
I have a flex I changed everything to Magpul furniture the tactical UTG factory furniture is garbage, the flex forend is garbage, I converted it to a standard tube assembly with MOE cover
love it
I love my Mossberg 500, but my only problem with Mossberg right now is, on their online store literally none of these parts are in stock barrels, flex parts, nothing Please Mossberg get some of your things back in stock!
Too bad everything is out of stock.
I wish the flex parts were not so hard to find and I wish they had more
I have a Mossberg 930 x 28 "imported by the CBC for BRAZIL and the shotgun this very slack in the breech pin after 1000 shots in skeet, due to big headache I am very dissatisfied with this product.
They should have made the pistol grip version w/ a Raptor grip. Then they would’ve had something really special
Can you use a 6 position stock from another mossberg 500 with these?
Just bought the coyote tan hunting configuration on May 5th! Gonna take it to the range on Saturday!
It really is stupid-simple to remove components, and it still takes Mossberg 500 accessories no problem. I already fitted it with a sling, Monstrum rail and a TruGlo Gobble-Stopper turkey sight. I definitely want to buy the thickest pad and adjustable hunting stock, because I’m tall and the 14-whatever inch LOP hunting stock with the second thickest recoil pad just isn’t long enough for me.
I was pretty close to buying a Benelli Super Nova, but I saw the 500 FLEX, did some research, and saved myself about $150, and ended up with a shotgun that fits my needs.
Oh, and I don’t know about the black versions, but the coyote tan hunting configuration comes with a tube mag plug so the gun is hunting legal right out of the box. For home defense, remove the barrel, point the tube at the floor, and give it a good shake. The wooden dowel will poke out. Carefully pull it as it has silicone O-rings on it. Once removed, the mag will go from being 2 round to a 5 round mag. Reattach barrel, and you’re good to go for home defense!
lazy couldn’t even show them how the barrel swaps so easy
My first shotgun and it came as the tactical version with the shorter barrel then the one shown. And the pistol grip. Get shoulder protection for that stock because it has none. Have different pump handle because the tactical one can be hard on bare hands. Also have the standard stock attachment with different butt ends for shoulder protection. My only problem was getting the full length barrel for skeet and it only came in black from Mossberg. Have had it for over seven years and now the only problem I’m having is the latch stop is not letting shells to be feed.
yes u can
Stock adapter seems to come loose on my flex. will be getting SGA stock and forend

Getting one this weekend! Cant wait. Great video.
Is the 500 flex interchangeable only with “flex” components?
DON’T LIKE IT!!!!!!!!! I’ll stick to my older Mossies!
Me WANT THIS GUN!
do they or are they going to make a autoloading one?
Missed it by that much. This system needs to be on a gun equipped with the 20" ribbed and threaded barrel. The 28" will never be tactical and the 18.5" will never be a hunting barrel. Honestly, I don’t know why Mossberg isn’t promoting the short hunting barrel more. It’s the whole reason I’m considering a Grand Slam Turkey over any other 500/590.
