Hi Jonny, great video, looking forward to Swedish, Austrian etc., As others have said can you please also list the gunmakers too, perhaps provide links? stay safe 😉
Time now to look at the Austrian and maybe German makers?
Do you know what the licencing laws are in France? I’m sure I’ve seen 9mm ammunition for sale in supermarkets.
Brilliant thanks you for keeping me sane during lockdown keep them coming.
Many Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You forgot PGM précision. Thanks for the video.👍
By the titles of the videos I bet they are pretty good. Unfortunately I can’t tell. He speaks high speed mumble in some foriegn language.
Enjoyed this video Jonny – stay safe – cheers 🍻
The Verney Carron lever release shotgun is funny enough not legal to import in Australia but the rifle version is fine. If one was already it or made in the country then in it would be legal, pretty much customs don’t want it in the country so they said no and there is nothing we can do about besides making it here.
I’d love to see an honest review of the Chapuis Progress. I’ve been considering one and respect your opinion!
I have a Chapuis progresse classic side-plated box lock. Phenomenal side by side.
This is one of my top videos from TGS. It’s great you mention the rifles just as much as shotguns, unlike most other UK or EU youtubers. There are a tone of French rifle reviews… but in French… any chance on doing a more in depth review of the French single or double rifle builders? Chapuis is now largely available here in Canada due to the Berretta Group purchase but the only info or reviews from them is by speaking with the salesman at the counter… which i feel may be biased…
French guns are Darne good
Have you heard of the " Atelier Verney-Carron"? They’re the custom branch of Verney Carron.
I thought it was a cedar closet haha….
Maybe you can write a list of brands?
Check this out and follow up. There is a vehicle Reg. https://youtu.be/fHVdOmRRq8g
Super fier d’entendre parler de son armurier: Tony Gicquel! Un passionné, toujours ouvert à la discussion. Au passage Mathelon a fait faillite il y a quelques années.
Could you do a review on the beretta 687 eell deluxe
There are some more French gunmakers whom you should check out when you have time – J P Ridon, Alain Vaussenat, Luc Perrin, Vouzeload, Christian Ducros, there are companies like Vouzelaud and Armes Bernizan who used to make guns but don’t right now. As far as I am aware, everyone other than Ducros has a website. Ducros was given the title "Le magicien des armes" by Raymond Caranta some years ago. I can assure you that you would find their work delightful.
And, thank you for mentioning the Dorleac-Dorleac firm. Joel Dorleac is not just a friend, he is one of the nicest people. I kid him about him belonging to the family of Francoise Dorleac and Catherine Deneuve, which must give him his fine esthetic sensibilities. In any case, whatever the reason, he is the Benvenuto Cellini of fine bolt action and single shot rifles and can build everything from a wood and finely engraved blacked steel rifle to a synthetic stocked lightweight Technique" model for chamois hunters. Good shooting!
Hi Johnny you speak so fast, don’t get me wrong it’s Brill but it loses some detail . Could you list the gun names in the after
Lebeau-Courally. Absolutely amazing Belgian bespoke gunmaker. Sweedish guns are fantastic, looking forward to your list. Please continue the series, I won’t even make requests I know you’ll cover every country I have in mind. Thanks, Wim Jonckheerr!
Robust shotguns are worth mentioning
Dorleac&Dorleac is the best Mauser producer on Earth. Absolutely best stocking with original actions from the beginning of the previous century.
If you have 3 years to wait take it. I
Hi Johnny , how much did that gorgeous 270 single shot make , ps keep up the great work.
Can you make a gun? Oui
While not wishing to criticise your dodgy French pronunciation! Could you please add links to the 10 websites so we can follow your advice and ‘waste a day’ checking them out.
Don’t know if you ever heard about the "Korrigane" carbine; a 3 in 1 rifle chambered in 30.06!
Great video by the way.
Does Manufrance still make their underlever(ish) models?
France army is about to receive the last of their order of 75000 HK 416 gen2 military rifles. As i understand they are not to keep Famas at all. It is therefore beyond me why Germany have a competition for a new army rifle between HK with a mix of G36 and HK416, and Rheinmetall Steyr RS556, witch is a Steyr AUG in M4 packaging. Germany plan to keep some G36. Germany ought to buy the same as France, if it is good enough for Norway, US marines in stead of lmg and France, it is god enough for Germany to.
