We tear apart a Marlin (actually a Glenfield) Model 60.
I just mine part and put it back together but now the bolt won’t pull back, I tried taking it apart again but the trigger assembly is stuck to the bolt.
I owned a model 60 for over 20 years.It was my first rifle. A real P.I.T.A. to break apart and repair, but didn’t need to fortunately, only thing that ever broke was the plastic buffer. Nice video. Where is your shop located?
I’m satisfied with my 795 that I picked up new for $120.
The triggers aren’t great, and the plastic stock doesn’t have the best feel, but it’s been very dependable and seems to be just as accurate as the stock 10/22 I had.
Thank you sir! We have an older model without the bolt hold spring….I bought a spring clip kit….and the old gun my dad bought me goes “click again!” Can’t wait to shoot it again😃🌈🤙
Whats the torque specs on those screws that hold the stock to the barrel/action?
Thanks for this video. My Glenfield Marlin dates back to Christmas Day 1980 and the stock, et. al. is exactly like the one in this video. After 40 years of ownership I have decided it needs a deep cleaning. The rifle is in fantastic shape but in storage for quite some time and I can’t even remember the last time I fired it. Thanks so much for taking the time and walking us through the steps.
Is there anywhere i could find those parts i have the stock and barrel but i need the rest to build it
Uhhg. I just noticed the Merlin rifle I have has a little lever to close the receiver, and an extra spring. Other than that I was able to put it back together.
My model 60 came not working new out-of-the-box hopefully this video can help me fix it
