It looked like a regular 9mm which would hold what.. max 12rds? maybe 15.. if that handgun was an automatic weapon.. it’d go through those rounds in a second.. what would be the point of that? If he meant, semi-automatic, then that would make sense.. but I’ve never heard anyone call a semi-auto weapon and automatic weapon before.
