KonusPro 3-9×40 IR Riflescope (4K)
KonusPro 3-9×40 IR Riflescope (4K)
The KonusPro 3-9×40 I.R. (illuminated reticle) works surprisingly well in low light and the blue or red dot is perfect for those times the crosshair blends into a dimly lit forest. The one I’m testing has held point of aim/impact despite a number of flights, and 1/4 MOA adjustments are accurate. The only complaint I have is that installing a new battery gets exciting because it’s way to easy to cross-thread the cap with that strong interior spring—eight or nine tries later it’s done, but starting the threads straight is a chore. It’s not a cutting-edge optic by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s a solid choice for less than $100 atop muzzleloaders or if you’re ready to put that old favorite back into action without breaking the bank. And here’s something else to consider if you’re looking for a new riflescope: Wire vs. etched reticle? I asked the experts which is better. How do I fix the ratical if it becomes crooked can’t find out anywhere

I’ve got one of these… Doubtful at first but it remained on. Cant really find any cons here.. light, rugged, illuminated… ok the finnish is not perfect, no satin feel, basic caps… But jonestly i got it on sale for ab 90$ and i cant really say it performs less than my others for ab 500+. Ok, no Swarowski, but you will have a truthful cross hair marking your spot even when the sun is setting… Blue dot… well, i actually prefer that in medium light. Kind of mellow.
Function wise i wouldn’t have been dissappointed if i had payed tripple the price. More pro looking lids and it could cost way more.
