If you look in the chamber and see no bullet there is that always clear? Could a bullet ever get stuck or be somewhere not in the chamber or in the mag?

DONT SHOOT INDOORS, Your health is at stake from lead poisoning! It happens very quickly! If you shoot regularly indoors have your Doctor check your blood levels! I’m not some anti gun nut! I got lead poisoning in a short period of time about 20 years ago! I shoot regularly now but outdoors and use a de leading product after!

What’s a good beginners firearm to try out before I make the purchase

  6. dabestboiever on November 28, 2021 at 12:19 am

One thing I would add never stand directly behind a shooter.

  7. john plaid on November 28, 2021 at 12:19 am

I’m The Asshole On Range. I’m the one who knows everything about the gun under my control. I even own the gun. I don’t want to waste my time arguing ballistics, gun prices, the new holster or gun accuracy and a hundred related subjects. I just want to shoot my shit, pick up the brass and clear the target. See me? I’m the guy at the end of tables. I never talk to anyone. I am the Asshole On The Range.

Why the heck is the woman standing in the way half the time. Is this video for youtube or for her to get the best angle?

  9. Like A Gentleman on November 28, 2021 at 12:23 am

Damn this was informative. And I’ve never even shot a gun. Idk how I gotten here. Lol.

  10. RJ H on November 28, 2021 at 12:25 am

When shooting a gun does your dominant hand go on the top or the bottom??

  11. CloudzyGN on November 28, 2021 at 12:25 am

Not what I was looking for, as woman being NRA instructor. Always better learn from someones perspective.

  18. stufoo on November 28, 2021 at 12:35 am

    Great video.

  21. FIGNAS83 on November 28, 2021 at 12:37 am

If you’re not familiar with your own gun you have no business at the range. Learn how to safely handle your weapon first.

  22. ashzole on November 28, 2021 at 12:38 am

Do they make bullet proof shoes, just incase you shoot your foot?

  23. I’m Signal on November 28, 2021 at 12:38 am

This is the exact range safety video I was required to watch before entering the range. Boring, but extremely necessary stuff. Nothing I hadn’t already known before entering the range myself.

  24. A A on November 28, 2021 at 12:40 am

I feel it is best to keep a loaded gun

  25. Krystyl Summers on November 28, 2021 at 12:41 am

How much more practice does he need?

  26. Jhanacelle Tolibas on November 28, 2021 at 12:41 am

Well i see in some movies when people find a gun its already loaded in so that’s some thing NOT to do

  27. Jed McDonald on November 28, 2021 at 12:41 am

I once saw some guys that looked like teenagers lean an assault rifle against the back wall which of course tipped over onto the floor. Definitely a cease fire moment.

  28. Castic on November 28, 2021 at 12:42 am

    Good video

  29. gary strother on November 28, 2021 at 12:42 am

I have never been to an indoor shooting range. I have been to an outside one for the TDCJ annual retraining, and after shooting and the line was clear we were directed to police our brass. On indoor shooting do you leave your brass on the floor, and they didn’t mention when a gun jams, or a shell fails to fire. We always kept the gun pointing down range, and raise our hand for assistance. A person should know how to clear a misspent round or how to clear a jammed gun, but he did mention beginners.

  30. Daniel Sparks on November 28, 2021 at 12:44 am

This is a great video, and very well planned out. I had my mother watch this before we went to the range. It’s great beginner’s instructional content.

  31. Bader P.L.S on November 28, 2021 at 12:45 am

I start up with 9mm a week ago I used a Glock 17 I reload and chamber the gun myself and almost started rabbit firing it out of enjoyment I was so happy didn’t really take my time to hit the target accurately I didn’t care , I left the place with a big smile out of my face , I wanted to shoot the Beretta M9 but I run out of money sadly and it’s expensive in the place where I live that’s $20 for 15 9mm bullets but it was will worth it .

  32. brad fiser on November 28, 2021 at 12:50 am

I was raised on gun safety , and will not even fire a weapon unless it has been first safety checked by Alec Baldwin

At my local shooting club we require a chamber flag in all empty chambers.

  39. kummer45 on November 28, 2021 at 12:56 am

Outstanding explanation. I’m interested on mounting, dismounting and firing a fire weapon. Never had that chance. However this video gives me the head start on how to handle them properly.

    Outstanding explanation.

  42. HeyMidnight1231 on November 28, 2021 at 1:00 am

Just shot a 9mm, 45mm, and an AR15, and it was fun. I watched this before I shot it and it helped a lot

  47. Carl Capello on November 28, 2021 at 1:06 am

Do you have to call a cease-fire if I leave my gun unloaded and the chamber is empty on the bench and now, I leave the booth and go to the restroom?

  48. DirtyNerd86 Silva on November 28, 2021 at 1:06 am

Never been on a range, but if im shooting i would just make my gun safe and put it down. I love guns. And I love people.

  49. Polintan Family on November 28, 2021 at 1:08 am

I’ve been watching lots of youtube videos about gun safety and this one is specifically in the shooting range, the most comprehensive one I’ve ever watched. I will take it.👍

  50. Michael BonAnno on November 28, 2021 at 1:11 am

I hate when the direction say keep the firearm point in a safe direction. Depending where you are a safe direction can be high ready, low ready or down range…SO SPELL IT OUT ON THE DIRECTIONS.
