Honestly I’ve always wondered how these weapons work but then again I¡m not sure the rewind is necessary every time then again it’s your channel

The hammer can also be cocked by just rotating it back with the thumb, disregarding the slide.

the only blooper is the round groves are in the wrong angle. the rifling is clockwise, the round’s groves are counter-clockwise

guns are dangerous if an idiot handles it – Fact.

  12. S.S. on December 1, 2021 at 12:28 am

it’s hard to figure out how to operate a 1911…if someone gets it away from you in a fight it
takes some people over 60 secs to figure out how to shoot it..& some people just give up.

  13. Kaitio on December 1, 2021 at 12:28 am

You don’t need to cock it again cause of kinetic energy 🙂

  14. the stick boyzzzz on December 1, 2021 at 12:30 am

now put the song somebody i use to know to it and it will be a lore

  15. cvthegreat on December 1, 2021 at 12:30 am

Guns aren’t dangerous people are dangerous and guns don’t kill people people kill people

  16. Bossman on December 1, 2021 at 12:32 am

This gun is such a marvel of engineering that it’s still used a century after it was first built.

  17. Chris Paasch on December 1, 2021 at 12:36 am

Nice animation. Could do without the robovoice.

    The front sight is backwards.

  22. Sigurd Mjelve on December 1, 2021 at 12:42 am

Inaccurate. The shells are spaced apart in the clip for some reason.

  24. Tomahawk on December 1, 2021 at 12:43 am

“Guns are dangerous” only in the hands of people who don’t know how to use them

  25. Doug Caldwell on December 1, 2021 at 12:44 am

Thanks for a very helpful animation for new gun owners. Who should note "Rewind" displayed so they don’t think the gun will do something it can’t do (put round back in magazine that’s been loaded in chamber)

    For a moment I forgot i was in school…

  28. Mark on December 1, 2021 at 12:49 am

The hammer spur and the hammer are not the same thing. The hammer spur is the part of the hammer that you can put your thumb on to cock the gun manually (which is sometimes necessary on a 1911, which is a single action). The whole thing (I.e. the part of the gun that strikes the firing pin) is the hammer. In a 1911, usually the slide cocks the hammer automatically, but some people are not comfortable carrying it with the hammer back and may lower it to carry, so you’d have to cock the gun for the first shot. Also, sometimes the firing pin does not strike the primer hard enough to fire the gun (which is a malfunction – I’ve had it happen to me a few times), so you’d have to cock the gun with your thumb to try again.

  29. Kushagra Chaudhary on December 1, 2021 at 12:51 am

However times I see it, I never understand the engineering of the cocking part

  30. BigGoldenYoshiFan on December 1, 2021 at 12:53 am

Guns aren’t dangerous, people are dangerous.

  31. Status1200 on December 1, 2021 at 12:53 am

    Video: Guns are dangerous
    Alec Baldwin: Fuck this video.

  32. Tokyo Joe on December 1, 2021 at 12:55 am

Guns are Dangerous? WTF, People are dangerous, if they are idiots. Guns are tools. Smarten UP

  33. Leif Duncan on December 1, 2021 at 12:55 am

So what happens during a double feed malfunction? bad ejector?

  34. Cristian Alexander on December 1, 2021 at 12:57 am

People with malice in their hearts choose to be dangerous. Guns are simply machines.

  40. Chris K. on December 1, 2021 at 1:04 am

This is why I love guns, they are an amazing example of precision engineered parts all working together to make a reliable and effective tool. (Unless you get a Taurus)

Does anyone know games with the same idea?

  46. Username has been terminated on December 1, 2021 at 1:12 am

So basically it’s just a hammer that keeps hammering the bullet because of friction and then the machine takes out the shell

  47. David Gruen on December 1, 2021 at 1:13 am

3:53 lol if you have load an ammo yourself you know your gun is guaranteed to explode with that much powder, unless it’s black powder.

  48. Soviet Bottle-Cap on December 1, 2021 at 1:14 am

How the safety works?and why does it pushes a spring connected to the bolt release?

  49. jondrew55 on December 1, 2021 at 1:15 am

2:16 – The springs are under compression, not tension.
