I’m willing to bet that it’s jamming because he has a left handed grip and his thumb is ricocheting the casing back into the chamber.

Just take it apart and take a Dremel and some Rouge and polish all the paint off of the parts for the slide is at in Polish the feed ramp and do not use Square nose bullets uses around those bullets also to I use slick 50 on the metal Parts because it will prove to be good

Sarcasm much? lol I was actually hoping to see something to change my opinion on the Hi Point but alas, I remain as skeptical and doubtful as ever :(. Anywho, entertaining video, thanks!

  14. Why You Trippin' Deebo on November 29, 2021 at 11:29 pm

This was my first gun and it’s horrible. It always jammed and it’s sooo heavy. The slide would always hurt the inside of my hand when I would shoot it. You’ll have a better chance of using it as a blunt object to throw at your attacker.

  23. James Branham on November 29, 2021 at 11:36 pm

  32. joseph Howell on November 29, 2021 at 11:50 pm

Lol hell noooo if i have to use my weapon and it james after the first shot the situation just got suicidal .only if one person and its a direct head shot .so while adrenaline is pumping and what ever the aggressor or now days agressors are on meth’99s’crack’molly etc. 3 shots minimum per perpetrator to stop the threat .unfortunitly its not like the movies where someone gets shot in the big toe and die instantly.how ever my buddy has one and we went through 100 rounds no issues so ?

  33. tml mintableapp British Comedy Spy Exterminator on November 29, 2021 at 11:51 pm

New invention “oil” and not 3 Glock drops. The hi-point needs oil. Seriously. The best Hi-Point interview in the history of gunkind. Truly a miracle for you. The entire intelligence community from CIA MK ULTRA, FBI CONFUSION CENTER AND OTHER CREEPY SPY AGENCY PERVERTS LOVE AND USE THE HI POINT RELIGIOUSLY… Their not stupid are they? Yes. HI POINT FOREVER EDWARD SNOWDEN USES THEM IN RUSSIA. He has one under every pillow in the apartment.

  34. Ambassador of Truth! on November 29, 2021 at 11:52 pm

Omg. Dude. I couldn’t stop laughing I’m surprised you were able to keep a straight face

  35. Jerry Patterson on November 29, 2021 at 11:53 pm

I owned a the 40 cal and it did jam at first, but let the springs loosen some and had no problem with feeding.
It’s just nobody accepts the break in period, I mean it’s a $200 pistol that’s fires bullets! How much do you expect from it?

  36. 3.7 on November 29, 2021 at 11:53 pm

dude mine has shot a thousand plus and malfunction 4 times you were doing something maybe no oil

  37. Mike Morris on November 29, 2021 at 11:54 pm

Great video. And a great gun.

  40. Just1American1966 on November 29, 2021 at 11:56 pm

I bought one off a friend who felt he didn’t have any use for it anymore and wanted the money to fund a bottle of some sort of exotic rum. He asked for $60 but I felt it worth more, but only had $70 on me, so that’s what I gave. This was in 2015.

I didn’t need it, either. To be honest, I keep forgetting I even own it. I took it out once not long after buying it. It ran flawlessly through several magazines of FMJ, but stumbled repeatedly with 115-grain JHP. It’s possible a round with a higher OAL might have fed better; I don’t know. That was the only time I took it out. It had not been cleaned since its previous range trip(s), either.

The Hi-Point was "the go-to" for a budget, but still reliable, handgun for a long time. Now, with guns like the Taurus G2C/G3C and the Ruger EC9 coming in at within $50 or so of their prices (during "normal" times), the argument for the Hi-Point as a good entry-level handgun isn’t as strong.

  41. Roy Perkins on November 29, 2021 at 11:56 pm

I own a Hi-Point c9. The gun is good value for the money. You can get this gun for under $200. I don’t know of any other gun this cheap. Why do people compare a $200 gun to a $2,000 gun. In truth the gun snobs out there are just idiots. Yes there are guns I enjoy shooting more than my Hi-Point. But this gun will bring down an attacker just as fast and efficiently as any other gun.

  42. Gary Bowen on November 29, 2021 at 11:56 pm

Once you clean it up it shoots great

  43. riverside texas firearm reviews on November 29, 2021 at 11:57 pm

Your making it jam with your thumbs

  44. James Branham on November 29, 2021 at 11:57 pm

Another b.s. video.. I just bought one to see what the hate is about.. 100% reliable.. dead on accurate.. 5 different brands of ammo.. even hollow points.. so cut the b.s.

These are great guns they are just very picky about what you shoot through them.

  48. dwalker2431 on November 30, 2021 at 12:06 am
