That’s a $220 hand gun not $100😂 and that’s sportsman’s price, still on the cheaper end. But it’s a good gun to file the numbers off, and take a skinny round file an slightly spin it around the barrel to unmatch the firearms rifling from the birth certificate. And there are many things you can do to make these firearms action and fire better. Like taking it out after cleaning it and closely inspecting it while firing and finding any spots that catch or drag between the upper and lower when actioning and hand filing them down to make it smooth, also there’s other springs you can install, and other modifications. Any gun will be good if you do what I just said. Hi-points are very high quality materials, but they’re overly mass produced which means machine milling and no hand file corrections on the upper, lower, nor internals. But when you do take them uh part and inspect the gun for these spots which a higher end provider or company does before selling them (such as glock or ruger) they work substantially better. Buy one of these, shoot it afew times with a up close slow motion video. And watch the guns action between the upper rail and the lower. Most hi-points fail there and drag or catch at the back of the fire arm when the front of the slide meets the back/middle of the lower mid action.

I like hi point look for the money it’s awesome .I am not getting into a gun battle with any one .that’s insane I want it for home protection only .one maby two guys at most .500 dollar gun or 200 . I don’t think the bad guy would give a dam if I defended my self with a Glock or hi point .I mean do you really think the bad guy is going to stop and ask if it’s a hi price gun or not .or demand that I shoot with a hi priced gun or not .that’s insane .I just need it to do the job .and hi point does the job .👍👍👍

I’ve had mine for eight or nine years it has never jammed and everything I shoot at I hit. It’s earned the nickname my reliable brick fart. Yes I’ve got the laughs and bought $600 Smith & Wesson’s and this is my go to in case of emergency

  22. Antonio D. aka Soldier of the Lord Pearson Sr on November 27, 2021 at 11:37 pm

It doesn’t matter what others think im in between purchasing my next gun a 380 or 45 but I’m leaning towards the 45 I’ll have it on the 18th of this month. I’ll keep the 380 for my concealed one

  23. Curtis Marean on November 27, 2021 at 11:38 pm

I had one… it looks like a tractor part, and some call it "big ugly ". I call it the intimidator, works just fine. I plan on getting one again. It’s a beast, but it is reliable. Pretty does not mean better.

  24. Ron Nguyen on November 27, 2021 at 11:39 pm

What I don’t get is that this gun function the way it’s suppose to and the cost is so affordable for people that just can only afford at that time. But for people that like to talk smack about It. I think if they poor af they would stfu and be happy what they got go to all haters the be talking smack about this and it come from a glocks fan collector

Your description of the Hi Point sounds like a description of my girlfriend…"Heavy, ugly, clunky, bulky." Yep That could be a description of Emma. Hi Point – Cheap….Emma – Cheap. Hi Point – Feels bulky as Hell…. Emma – Feels Bulky as Hell. Hi Point – Send it back to the manufacturer, get another magazine….Emma – Send her back to her parents they send her back with her sister. Hi Point – always wanted a 45 but didn’t want to pay $450, got it for $100….Emma – always wanted a girlfriend but didn’t want to pay $450, got her for $100. Hi Point – takes a minute to get to the target….Emma – take a while to move her anywhere. Hi Point – This thing is a beast, moves like a tank….Emma – This thing is a beast, moves like a tank. Hi Point – Anything you put on it adds weight…..Emma – Anything you put on her adds weight. You hide your face while firing you Hi Point, I hide my face when in public with Emma.

  30. helenadrumz on November 27, 2021 at 11:47 pm

I’ve shot almost 3 boxes of 50 and had no issue of misfire. It feels good and doesn’t have a big kick at all. A lot of people don’t realize it has a lifetime warranty.

    Just got one lastnight

  50. Denis Kozlowski on November 28, 2021 at 12:06 am

They do work and they’re cheap as hell. The main reliability problem stems from the fact that they’re ungodly difficult to disassemble and reassemble. As a result, alot of people never clean or lube them properly. It’s what you would a morning dew gun. Meaning it’s what you take to the range early in the morning before anyone else gets there. That way people don’t think you’re unemployed or a drug addict when you show up with one.
