Great gun to carry in your truck for self defense
i bought one of these as a novelty. but being Canadian it turned in to the most handy gun i own. and it being classed here as non restricted i can take it basically anywhere! always rides in the tractor with me! and i can put a full size butt stock on it and make a sbr with no paper work just need the stock no permission.
can you shoulder these like a rifle? or is that illegal

Not a novelty here in Canada where we can’t carry pistols. (A Henry is a much better quality piece.) This is the next best thing to stash in the quad. I do think you’d look like a dork though walking around with this gun in a holster. lol

They have one in 45 Colt at my local gun shop. I want one, but I want a 357 so I can share rounds with the revolvers I carry. I love Steve McQueen and Wanted Dead or Alive. I bought a SA 1873 6 shooter because of all the westerns I watch. I also bought a Stoeger Coach Gun for the same reason. I then started watching film noir movies and old private detective TV shows so I started buying snub Smith & Wesson revolvers. Now I need my Rossi Ranch Hand and the Mossberg short barrel 12ga Shotgun with wood grip and forearm. Once I pay off the 1950 S&W Pre-Model 10 snubby I have on layaway, I think the Ranch Hand is next on the list.
Novelty! that’d make a damn good hunting pistol, or home defense and a truck gun, most states don’t allow you to carry a loaded rifle in your vehicle which is very monotonous but with that you can carry essentially a cut down lever gun, best of both worlds right there, I want the Rossi instead of the Henry, I love the Henry but, it doesn’t look like Steve McQueens mares leg

I can’t say that I’ve ever been very found of level action firearms but I really like this little rig right here. I thought about picking this up for a fun little plinker for when I’m out walking in the woods. How effective would this be for a small pack gun? And how do you think it would preform taking small game if needed?
