What happened to the extended mag
Not to mention the firing pin sucks balls especially for being a fn? A lot of ppl even on YouTube show there pin breaking can’t even dry fire like the 19x or m17-18…. There trigger has to much play and if you wanna change it out good luck bc they made it so dam difficult it’s crazy. On mine a heavy duty Apex trigger is a dam must so ppl that is the 1st thing you do don’t wait bc it’ll fail when least inspected. Beautiful pistol but dam trigger and firing pin make it trashy.🤷🤦😬🤔🗑️

999.98 USD with Viper Red Dot, a 17 rd, and 2x 24rd mags (at Bass Pro here in the USA). I love my unit, it’s black and my trigger does not seem like a 7-8 though, it feels about the same as my P360 XL’s (around 5-6). Anyway great video keep them coming.

I have the regular 509, love the gun. Once you break it in after 200 rounds, it becomes very comfortable to shoot and reliably accurate.
The FN 509 is an awesome pistol especially the controls. The polymer frames feels solidly built. The trigger is crap out of the box (Generally, my 509C felt like it had already had a thousand rounds through it). The broken in trigger feels good. After breaking in the trigger it is as good as any striker trigger barring Walther of course. FN should refine the trigger in the same way Glock Gen5 triggers feel already broken in. I do not know what keeps the company from promoting the pistol. Sig like effort and FN would sell a bajillion pistols.

The soft case is a nice novelty but kinda useless in Canada. I prefer my fn fns or glock that came with a hard case
As a LEO trainer I can tell you that the heavy trigger is totally true. There are rules that legislate the trigger weight. Great review BTW!

The state im in doesnt allow us to have suppressors so really the only benefit would be fitting a red dot

Don’t get me wrong, I always love the content you guys provide. I just don’t think many Canadians would be looking to buy handguns anytime soon with Bill C-21being implemented in municipalities by some mayors. Just my opinion, still this content could work well for those in the States too.
Thoughts on the RDO mounting shoe and assoc plates? Some YouTuber Gun dude reviewer claims the FN’s design is the best.
