This is so cool, that weopen I don’t know what it’s called IV never held a gun ever I’m 45 but I know what they look like and I can hear the ting of the metal when a Bullet hits the I think metal target and I think that’s pretty far away and that’s a kill shot if in the torso and that’s good shooting man I wish I could fire a gun like thst at a safe place like in America I live in Australia and we don’t have guns like you guys IV seen men I know holding a gun but they were farmers and 22 rifles for rabbits and foxes. I love how a gun actually works like the engineering of the parts to make the magic. One thing I would hate would be to be in a war or a bank robberie and my gun jamed or just did work after a few rounds. I’m still so impressed with how good they have become. From the old days to now it’s incredible. I hope before I die I get to shoot at some Targets.

What happened with Ian and Karl? (InRangeTV)

  3. Todd N on December 8, 2021 at 11:30 pm

Ian why is your store now ignoring my emails about the sizing of the Heat vests? They were quick to respond when I first received it and acknowledged there was an issue. I have been patient with understanding that things happen. Now a month later they have ignored 3 emails trying to follow up

  4. metningsnivå on December 8, 2021 at 11:33 pm

I like how even the RO is wearing a suit

  5. Loogielicker69 on December 8, 2021 at 11:33 pm

Yeah, we ordered these vests and undeniably were all scammed out of 100 bucks. Is there any plan to actually comment on how the product everyone received was made to fit an elephant? You guys took the money from all your supporters and ran with it, the least you could do is admit it

  6. Conner Lopez on December 8, 2021 at 11:33 pm

The second you take the full auto out the magic is lost. Not your fault Ian. Awesome movie pick 😉

The gun I like is I think a colt it’s like a M16 but looks shorter but in that film it sounds like hell spitting lead god I saw that at the cinema when it was released Michael man makes really great films. All his gun sceans seem so real to a guy that’s never touched a gun in 45 years haha I wish I could just have a go once just once of any gun but I most want to try a M16 and a bulpup Steyr because Australia uses them and I’d like to see the difference in recoil. You in America don’t know what it’s like to have no guns no gun shops.wheb I was a kid in the 80s there was gun shops and I used to look at them in amazement because I loved films and a lot of films have firearms. I’d also like to try the heavy gun that a sas or seals 8 man teams carry a heavy like belt fed squad machine gun. IV seen all the great war films from WW1 and 2, to veitnam to Blackhawk down platoon and my all time favourite redux apocalypse now that is the greatest war film of all time. Stanley Kubric made a veitnam one I forgot what it’s called we all know the one. You smell that ? Gasaline smells like victory. Apocalypse is a masterpiece based on the book I read before I saw the film Joseph Conrad heart of darkness.

Anyone buy and buy and of these? I bought a medium/large, and it is incredibly loose and the shoulders straps want to fall off my shoulders. I am 5’11 185lbs. My brother is 6’2 and 210 and it’s the same with him. What did I do wrong?

  19. Eternal Death on December 8, 2021 at 11:45 pm

    NO REFUNDS

  20. Chris McDowell on December 8, 2021 at 11:45 pm

The characters in the movie carried the bags higher, and close to their bodies, almost like backpacks. The guys in the video are letting the bags hang low, flopping around at their sides. Wouldn’t that make a difference?

  22. browndd on December 8, 2021 at 11:47 pm

Such a great movie. Btw apparently Heat inspired the North Hollywood bank robbery and shootout. After the shootout, the police searched the suspect’s apartment and claimed they found a copy of Heat in the VCR that had yet to be rewound. As if the suspects had just finished watching it before they left to go rob the bank.

  23. bob down under graffiti teacher on December 8, 2021 at 11:49 pm

What about the hollowood shootout those maniacs had some heavy firepower and full self made body armour I think they had a ak and a M16 with a box ammo thing you should do a breakdown of the weopons they used and the weopons the police had that were infirire so the police raided a gun shop to get bigger guns that was what made all police carry a M16 or similar. So that they were not useing handguns against full assult weopens with illegal belt rounds and I think they modified there weopons also so I think that would be very interesting the cops weopons vs the two men in the hollowood shootout that still lead to both dieing.

  24. Wetwork on December 8, 2021 at 11:51 pm

This looks incredibly fun. It would also be fun to be rich, hire like 100 live action role players and do the same thing except with paintball guns or high powered airsoft and play out the entire scene somewhere.

  25. Freesteamer 34 on December 8, 2021 at 11:54 pm

  27. OilBaron100 on December 8, 2021 at 11:55 pm

Glad that you checked the chamber at the end of the video.

Alec Baldwin should’ve watched your videos.

  28. Paul King on December 8, 2021 at 11:57 pm

What did you use as weight? I am thinking it might have been easier to use 88 pounds of simulated paper bills than whatever you used for the 60 pounds. Or maybe not.

  29. bob down under graffiti teacher on December 8, 2021 at 11:58 pm

Just useing the metal sites and yr hitting the target a lot that’s a lot of dead cops. But then you have to factor in fear and adrenaline and the weight and ahhhh that movie now I want to watch. When I saw that in 97 I believe that shootout was the best I’d seen in a film and IV seen so many shooting s in films that made the gun sound like so loud in the film you got a feel for its power and destructive force.

  30. bob down under graffiti teacher on December 9, 2021 at 12:01 am

I’m sure it’s a colt that small looking M16 gun with the bit site at the front and the rounded fore grip since that movie IV wanted to fire one

  31. CrimsonCrux on December 9, 2021 at 12:02 am

That mag change at 3:08 was spot on.

  32. bob down under graffiti teacher on December 9, 2021 at 12:04 am

Having that shoulder strap looks so handy

  33. idav243 on December 9, 2021 at 12:05 am

Awesome, Ian already has the Kilmer ponytail. And the other guy that keeps doing the Michael Cheritto hair management immediate action drill is hilarious.

Ian I am a fan of your Subaru brass deflector 😂

  36. Corey byrd on December 9, 2021 at 12:09 am

  39. J. De la Poer on December 9, 2021 at 12:12 am

HEAT still stands out as one of the most realistic Hollywood heist/action movies ever made.

  40. Tier One on December 9, 2021 at 12:13 am

Kelso called. ‘Bout what? A score he’s putting out wants you to look at. Whud do I need his score for I got my own? He said it’s low risk & six figures. Nine AM tomorrow! What happened out there? Don’t ask!

Garand thumb did a video on the fnc

  45. Herb Derbler on December 9, 2021 at 12:20 am

I’m not sure why they bothered making the straps on these vests elastic. None of them hold a magazine even vaguely tight. I can stick two magazines in the shoulder positions and they still don’t need to stretch at all.
