I owned one. Sold it because I could not hit my targets. Then I switched to my Glock 21 and started tearing red paper; even south paw.
think I prefer my 1911 10mm, far more, I would however buy a fk brno 7.5mm

I had an FN 5-7 for home defence.
I took a shot at the intruders, and I ended up killing the neighbour’s dog and a new peep hole on the wall.
can’t remember firing a gun I didn’t like, especially handguns. But – like drugs, came a time to grow up and put them behind me. Maybe it’s living in a country with strict gun laws, I can enjoy watching videos like this and remember back to when I had guns in the house but now I no longer need that. I put my trust elsewhere. So far so good 😄

You’re not crazy about it…but the thought of a man with your capabilities with THAT cartridge with the appropriate ammo made for the platform with 20 rounds is a scary thought, and wouldn’t want to be downrange of. It’s really not that much different from an AR 5.56 round, but I prefer 20 inch barrels with that round so I get why the hate on the round with shorter barrels with both the ps90 and 5.7.
I couldnt find this info online so I wonder if you could comment on which one is louder, a 9mm or a 5.7×28? I know gun and ammo varies, just a general trend maybe? like a glock19 vs FN57 with their most common ammo type?

I own a few Hi-points, 9mm carbine, great! Two 9mm pistols, one great, one not. I also own an FN 57. There is no comparison. The FN is waaaaay superior. Found that shooting Federal ammo is an issue, even out of my PS-90. You liked it the first time, and were shooting right at over 20 yards. My 57 shoots high, low, left, right with the Federal rounds. Ok for just shooting. Shoot the Hornady/FN rounds and way better. Just saying. Hard to do with ammo shortage but it is the truth.

This 5.7 is my next pistol purchase but I have to go ruger for the cost…I purchased a RIA TCM22/9MM COMBO IN A 1911A2 6 MONTHS AGO I love it… thanks for reviewing these 2 pistols
The Five Seven is the perfect handgun as far as I’m concerned: light weight, low recoil, high capacity, bullet indicator, smooth trigger, quality grips, accurate, safety is in a spot where you already put your finger. Really can’t ask for anything more.

Not impressed for the price
The plastic feels cheap. That’s why I haven’t bought one.
It’s a terrific looking gun and you compared it to a Hipoint. Why would you say that? It’s an absolutely good looking gun and unique too. Just look at the rounda and how that kind of long amo fits in a hand gun and shoots really well. The grip is just wide enough to fit the rounds and the slim body with all black coatings. They just look neat and fancy and modern unlike other full metal machined bodies.
People talking about carrying guns seems so weird to me as i live in england and theres not as much people with guns

My dream gun
I would be very wary of buying guns that require special, expensive bullets. I had a Makarov which used similar bullets and it was a pain to find the ammunition, and to buy it once it was found.

Does anyone experience issues with the american eagle five seven rounds the bullet comes out of the cartridge often so I stopped buying those rounds. I used multiple boxes and the same thing kept happening.

I think the FN’s is meant to be shot with one hand. It is so light and easy to shoot.
The vest-busting bullets are only available to military or law enforcement. Civilians can only get sporting cartridges which can’t penetrate vests. Banning this won’t stop criminals.
I recently purchased one not too long ago. Paid $1000 flat. I love it so far.
