I didn’t find evidence of a MkV but the Ruger rimfire pistol is pretty much the most popular .22 pistol for target shooting in history. I’ve never seen it in a .38. It’s rugged and accurate and reasonably priced. It’s competition when I bought a target pistol was High Standard which went out of business, but got bought up by another company some time ago who started making them again. I personally have a High Standard Supermatic Trophy Military, which is a version used by the U.S. Army to train soldiers in the Colt 1911 pistol because the weight and the grip are made similar and it’s easier and cheaper to use .22 rounds than .45 rounds. It’s a pretty cool gun if you go google it. But this one as far as I know was only ever .22. Really superb target pistol. Good review of the gun by the way, I always enjoy your reviews.
The Ruger mk 5 is actually based off of the nambu pistol but it does have some design similarities with a Luger
Hey Captain Noob I have another weapon idea for you with the cryolator so a cryolator with the default barrel that has your 4 shot legendary effect call it the "Blizzard Cannon" and a version with a crystal Barrel called "Snowball Spitter" fun weapon to use and thanks for covering my last idea no matter how useless it was 🙂
