I know this is over 5 yrs old already but I’m going to ask anyway. Why take any intelligence at all when you don’t take any perks there? You would be better off just dropping them in Idiot Savant no?

What about dogmeat? Doesn’t he allow you to keep lone wanderer bonuses?

Dogmeat is a good lone wanderer companion
Next do a trickster,sword master and royal guard build
as soon as you get Kellogs pistol and head to Diamond city, one of the traders will sell a similar revolver that does more damage, no perk though
currently working to implement the commando perk requirements from the guns and explosives overhaul on the nexus since i find it a really fun mod to play with and this build seems like it would be stupid fun if you slap an auto pistol into his hands. I’ll give an update on how that turns out when i get it more towards completion (since so far i just slotted in the commando perk whenever it was available in my word doc and also need to find a way to slot in gun nut to upgrade the pistol (might like weapon crafting a bit too much)

I decided to try this build out and I have to say it’s garbage. The accuracy in VATS is pure shit
The pistol you get from nuka world is also quite suitable for this build
Y’all should do a remastered version of your old fallout 4 builds

if you invest a bit into the science perk the righteous authority geared as a pistol is a very good option (sry for bad english)
A gunslinger build should have 10 perception. Real life gunslingers always focused on their first shot being the last shot to a conflict, saved them ammo and risk of death
Sir, do you have a build for guns/vats/crit like this one that can use rifle aswell and a little less dumb too as character?
Not sure why you put points in lone wonderer so early. You’re with a companion for the majority of play at that time trying to unlock companion perks

i was just out on my regular patrol in Quincy when this guy who had his entire face covered showed up from god knows where and just started shooting, he fired maybe 30 shots with his revolver and never missed a single one. i was scared shitless, i won’t lie, but i found my way underneath a car that was about 50 feet from where he was, watched from there as he massacred my battalion.
i wasn’t gonna risk poking my head out to give him a bead on me, so i stayed there, and he stayed too, took everything he could off my friends’ corpses. he wasn’t human, man. probably one of them synths the Institute makes to track down the ones that get away. hell, i might be who he was lookin’ for, i dunno. all i know is that i never want to meet him face to face, and if i do i’m gonna try my hardest to put a peice of lead in his eyesocket.

I really want the revolver in VATS to fan the hammer.
I find it so poetic that the Gunslinger uses the same pistol that killed his wife.

Dog meat doesnt actually count as a companion so lone wanderer will still work
Anyone else can’t find .44 ammo anywhere? Great gun, but can’t use it 99% of the time.

There’s a mod called bullet time and it’s basically vats but with your aim and each second it drains your action points that would be perfect for this but I also like dead eye locking onto their heads that vats has
For me, the only thing this build lacks is a good intelligence or at least Idiot Savant.
It would be great if I could throw weapons, then all I would need is a magic poncho.
