I think 300 black out is super cool, I just can’t seem to convince myself to take the leap and get invested in the cartridge…

Had issues with the bolt locking back once I put the Q trash panda on it. Ended up switching to an adjustable gas and that has fixed most issues. I sometimes have a failure to feed and am considering the new 300 blk pmag. Not sure why I’ve had so many issues since I decided to run it suppressed. Any ideas?

Have had this Pistol, since they announced it at SHOT SHOW 2018. Currently have a SB3 TACTICAL brace on it. Got tired of the original brace moving around. Putting a Trijicon TR24G 1-4X24 on it. The 1-8 twist barrel isn’t as accurate as my Ruger Ranch 300 BLACKOUT in 1-7 twist. Recently changed the muzzle break over to the Silencerco quick disconnect muzzle break. Haven’t tested it yet, but hope my SILENCERCO HYBIRD works great with the set up! Other than that, I have my Daniel Defense ISR 300 BLACKOUT for backup! And yes, for you 350 Legend bandwagon people, I have the Ruger Ranch 350 Legend rifle. I also have the 300 BLACKOUT Ruger Ranch with AR mag capability. Personally, I hate 5.56, but have an IWI GALIL ACE PISTOL chambered in 5.56, just in case. I also have an IWI GALIL ACE BATTLE RIFLE chambered in .308. Along with a Springfield M1A SCOUT! That should satisfy all you haters. SEMPER FI.

I’m interested in getting this same firearm and the purpose for it would be just plinking and hunting deer within 100 to 200 yards with a 1×6 primary arms scope. Do you think that the Daniel defense 10.3 would fit work for hunting or do I need to go to bcm 12.5? The reasons I am looking at shorter barrels is I am disabled in my left arm so longer guns and heavier guns I can’t handle very well. I just don’t like the idea or being comfortable with going anything shorter than a 10" barrel.
Wow! The only reason I kept my 16” barreled 300BLK upper is that it’s my most accurate rifle, out to 100 yards (and that’s with my 150 gr hand loads (nothing fancy, Lee Turret Press) which I’ve had since 2012. The only reason I recently dismantled it is that the 10.5” barreled pistol I made last winter was just as accurate to 50 yards, the farthest I’ve stretched it as it was meant for home use.
The only reason I’ve soured a little on the caliber is that I didn’t realize at the time that it would not be as effective a defense round as I’d hoped. Ammo loaded with the Barnes Tac TX bullet seems to be the best, reasonably priced choice so I have several boxes of Barnes Vor-TX ammo on hand for the pistol. But I wasn’t able to find anything that worked well in subsonic ammo, although I’d guess someone makes some decent all copper stuff.
Do you have any estimates turnaround times from the ATF for tax stamps? They recieved my Form 1 last July and then I had to resubmit it and they recieved the resubmition in November. I called last week and all they’ll tell me is that it’s pending. "So did my paperwork go to the bottom of a stack becuase I had to resend it or what?" "I’m sorry sir all I can tell you is that it’s pending."
There is a site that has a graph of lead times on it but it is not as long as I have waited (13 months….)

Does the law tactical folder on this pistol go outside the parameters for "correct measurement " according to the latest at letter? Or did you have to get a stamp?
Wow Daniel Defense going with the cheapo SOB brace. You’d think for that expensive of a firearm they’d at least throw on a sba3 or sba4 that locks and doesn’t spin.

Hey Mike, QQ, if you had to recommend a 300 blackout pistol configuration for a go to home defense tool, what would it be? Cost is not a concern. I was considering the following: DDM4, BCM, POF 415 EDGE, B&T 300 APC, SIG Virtus. I have been leaning to the POF 415 Edge but not sure. It will be suppressed but using an OSS can so back pressure is no concern but it has to function with supers and subs without buffer changes.
What is the legality for shoulder firing a AR pistol? I’m looking to get this in 5.56.
Love my DD in 300 BLK. Was going to trade it after I built one just as accurate with a stainless barrel for way less but the Cold Hammer Forged Barrel makes the DD a keeper.

When I first found out about 300blk, I HATED it, but with all these videos coming out, i feel like I gotta give in and get one lol
IN my opinion, Daniel defense makes OK products, even good products…….BUT I do think they are EXTREMELY overrated, and OVER priced. They are basically a milspec, duty, rifle, with a mlok rail, and now apparently a ambi charging handle, and you are paying competion gun, or high end piston gun prices. I have zero issues in buying a 2k gun, but I want value. And I just dont see that with DD. like I said not bad guns, just not a great value for my money. Alot of money going to the name Daniel Defense.
