I’m looking into all these DD M4’s and I’m getting confused with the differences between all of these. Too many options can sometimes be a bad thing. I wish they’d just say, "You either want this or that." Make it simple for us noobs ha.
What fore-grip is that installed in your ddmv11 and it is KeyMod correct?
You may have said but if so I missed it. Does the barrel itself have a standard extension or m4?

Does this 18" upper receiver work with basic LE6920 lower?
I bought the 2015 version a couple days ago! I weighed it: 7 pounds flat with Blackspider Micro RedDot, AFG, magpul sights, and empty mag. Awesome video!!

I have an older M4 A1. Amazing rifle. Not a KAC. But it is a tac driver. By the way. Who makes that nice leather holster for your slabside? Love it. Want one for my STI Tactical 45ACP.

Sadly DD has gone to the dogs… These handguards can’t even withstand a 5 drop on cement without the whole thing shifting/canting… If you buy one, don’t use the LokTite that says right on it "For 1/2" to 1/4" bolts. It will end up busting the bolts off and is not the MilSpec type of blue LokTite… Use MS-222, (Purple) or Rockett. (Blue LokTite is not going to withstand the heat build up… "If" you need a replacement part, expect to pay way too much. I’ll give them props for finish quality but the design has a major flaw in the rail. Their barrel nut wrenches don’t hold up for long. Even an inexpensive Midwest Industries upper use nice large hardened thick steal barrel nut removal tools. The pistol grip design is nothing special at all, sadly it’s overpriced… Thier M16A1 "like" sights are light, but for the price, you pay you can get far better sights. The trigger groups are not very good at all. They have a service really because they would fire to rounds with one pull. Before that they where just plain out junk. They are not keeping up with modern builds. If you end up with a firearm the shoots two rounds with one pull, umm you could end up with major fine and most likely jail time. They want you to pay to send the lower in for their junk defective triggers? No thanks… I own two, I just switched to better parts, they’re where obvious problems just looking at the design. At least most new models of rails have the bolts in the front row and are enlarged… Thier best rail design was the MFR, it will always be able to be removed with ease. But yeah use Rockett… (Cermanic based, non-toxic and can be removed with a simple 24-48 water soak, boiling water will remove it in about 15 mind to an hour…
Do you have a preference between the ddm4v7 with the govt barrel or the lw version? Seems both were equally accurate and weight is the only difference. Thank you

does that free float rail have a heat shield? Is there even a need for a heat shield with a FF rail?

Have you noticed the 4 screws getting loose after shooting a lot? I have to tighten my screws every couple hundred rounds to keep it from shifting.
For the price I was thinking a POF USA Renegade plus was a far better value, way more features and a similar weight. But now I’m reconsidering everything as this gun is on sale at sportsman’s for $1200. Even still, I think I’m gonna go with a Renegade Plus.
Question, my man… I assume the front sight doesn’t interfere with the vortex razor or you wouldn’t use it but what do you do about the rear sight? Is it flip up or did you omit it for now? I’m getting my DDM4V11 SLW and I’m putting a vortex on it but I’d like to use the flip ups just in case.
If it is pinned and welded I should be able to see it ?

quick question does anyone know that attachment system is the "less good one" I have heard many stories and videos about the v11 rail shifting from ak operators union then nutnfancys video with the v7s rial shift issue. I want to get a v7 but I may just get a v5 or bcm is DD is having trouble not alligning their rails and the rails shifting under a little force.
Considering that has 16" LW barrel; Is the flash suppressor pinned or welded? I have googling all over and could not find the validation that they were. Just got myself DDM4V9 Tornado Grey and I am thinking of attaching Hybrid 46. Any thoughts?

As a former armorer, are these better than the rifles the military gets? Just curious. They certainly are very accurate. Those groups are some of the best I have seen.
DD makes a phenomenal AR platform. They use high quality parts, n use really good quality control. I picked up the DDm4v9 ( 15” quad rail- n for being a full length quad rail it’s extremely lightweight, it weighs 6.59lbs) I picked it up for $1,350 which for what you’re getting is really outstanding. The fit and finish is top tier for around those prices. Plus most of their rifles use a mid length gas system and it is a noticeable decrease in felt recoil compared to a carbine length gas system

…lol… Just made a deal on the 300 blackout version of this one. I’m also buying that Diamondback AR in 5.56. After this I must stop to save up all the ammo I forgot to buy…lol…lol…I completely slipped and let it all become depleted. …lol… This Daniel Defense stuff is way cool. Solid and no jiggle anywhere. The Diamondback is just for fun. It does jiggle but then it’s only $700 and that Daniel rifle is gonna cost me $1500. It’s only money. …lol…lol…

Dont waste your money on their cerakote colors ! I ordered 3 guns in Tornado , it looks nothing like pic on web page ! It looks like flat grey primer ! Great gun otherwise. Customer service 👎
