BSA 2-7X Edge Pistol Scope On Ruger Super Redhawk

BSA 2-7X Edge Pistol Scope On Ruger Super Redhawk

British Small Arms, a company owned by Gamo and based in London with US headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, has worked hard to build up their reputation amongst American shooters…Let’s do a look see rundown on this scope before taking it to the range…

Chinese quality control is horrible, I cant see putting a cheap scope on a expensive pistol, chinese junk is destined for the landfill in short order, and I am quite aware most of the glass even on expensive quality scopes is sourced from Asia , even Leopold. I hunt in adverse conditions and use good glass. You can always save up more to by something decent.Just my view , I avoid anything made in communist China, but I am a huge fan of Japan and South Korea, the Japanese make great rifles and everything made with steel at great price.

Is this particular model with the fast focus still in production? I’m having trouble locating it

You don’t know shit about BSA.. So why provide so much false info as if you do? Just stick to speaking about the scope.. Nobody needs a bullshit history lesson from Mr Magoo.

I think "BSA" stands for "Birmingham Small Arms".

I hope it does well at the range.

That is pretty difficult to get a camera to see through a weapons mounted optic. I did a little "still" photography through a rifle scope recently. Not very easy at all! Congratulations! You did a wonderful job!

BSA stands for Birmingham Small Arms; as you say like many famous marks froms the past it is now just a famous brand or trademark.

    Gamo are a Spanish company.

Hi Fortune Coockie 45 lc. I changed to an Ruger GP100 6" 357 mag since my SAA Pietta does not allow to Mount a scope. It’s for hog hunting at 50 to 100 Yards (maybe past 100 Yards as well). Do you recommend the BSA 2-7 x 32 handgun scope? I am about to order it on Amazon (86 $) only based on your Videos since there is no much info on These particular scopes neighter on BSA Homepage (which is very chinese maintained IMO).

Hey Cookie, What are your thoughts on this: Weaver Classic Gloss Black Handgun Scope (1.5-4 x 20 with Dual-X Reticle)
Our league shoots a 2" plate at 15′ out to a 10" plate at 50 yards. That is as far as we shoot. Thoughts on the 1.5-4X for my application? Weaver’s reputation? It seems I can only find fixed 2x or 2.5-7 or 8 which is overkill. Appreciate your input
