Ok, not sure if you still get questions on such an old video, but here goes…
I currently run a Vortex Strikefire 2 on my Tavor, but plan on going with an illum 1-6×24… My question is, will the Strikefire hold up on my mag feed 12 gauge???

What was really missing from this video was holographic sights. Also, mentioning some of the popular optics and the costs of those optics (Eotech, ACOG, Vortex 1-4×24, Trijicon RMR, etc.) would’ve been really helpful to newbies. That would’ve really helped me when I was just getting started.

  5. Kenney Chappuis on December 6, 2021 at 8:14 pm

What do you need it for? Impressing my buddies at the range.

  6. Mr Pib on December 6, 2021 at 8:14 pm

For the budget part. I’m a poor ass but one thing I will never cheat on his my equipment because my life depends on it

  7. THE STATE OF REAL on December 6, 2021 at 8:15 pm

Practice β€œready ups” without fully resetting the trigger between shots. This will increase speed and tighten shot groups. Great video otherwise!

Hi, Great video with a plethora of information! My question centers around my AR 15-22. I currently have a 3-9×40 Prostaff Rimfire ll. My gun ranges are from 25yds. To 100yds. I haven’t had the luxury of anything further than that yet. I’d like to have the target closer without affecting the accuracy. When I zoom in I get all of the minutiae unstableness. My goal (or should I say challenge) is to hit within a dime size from 100yds. & 25yds. Would be just automatic. Is that too much to ask for a AR 15-22? I’m shooting premium ammo. My budget is less than $300. Thanks!

  11. Brandon Bennett on December 6, 2021 at 8:19 pm

    Max Price- $150
Use- Airasoft sniping out to 100 yards max
Must be compatible with a 2 part rail, almost like what is on an M14 DMR

    Any recommendations?

*Yeah that’s right NJ I have a high capacity BB gun, and I love it.>>>**ur2.pl/949** Seriously how is this a "firearm?" You need to get your sh’t together NJ. I could shoot myself at point blank with this thing and barely feel it. My father had to fill out the same paperwork to purchase a sniper rifle just to get me my first air rife, and that was years ago.*

I have a ruger ar 556, bought a cheap bushnell tr 25 red dot and i just cant get comfortable with it?? i find it takes a lot more effort to tilt my head look thru it and find what im aiming at.is it just me? im i not used to it? is it the red dot? (ie brand) like do i need a more expensive one, which i doubt ? i bought a cheaper one to figure out if i like it before i plop &300 plus for one….. any help or comments from other shooters would be appriciated, ive always used 3`9`40 scopes on my hunting rifles and have no problem with them. i just cant get the concept of fast shooting with a red dot and its uncomfortable…..thanks

  38. Bobcat Arts on December 6, 2021 at 8:56 pm

This is a very helpful explanation, thank you! I was trained on iron sights but am looking for something to get pretty quick target acquisition at medium/short range and didn’t know where to go.

  39. Jack on December 6, 2021 at 8:56 pm

What’s a good red dot sight like sight that has mils or dots to Kentucky windigded or however you spell windage.

  44. William Lopez on December 6, 2021 at 9:01 pm

Hey I used your code at optics planet to get my optics set up for my AR 15. Could you do a review for the strike fire 2 with the 3x magnifier? I appreciate all the info I get from your Channel

  45. Tiny_A_Dog on December 6, 2021 at 9:01 pm

I weary with a red dot for my airsoft gun. Just getting into it and I’m excited to hit the ranges 😁

  46. tdubblz on December 6, 2021 at 9:04 pm

    This was helpful

  47. David Gonzalez on December 6, 2021 at 9:05 pm

What red dot scope do you recommend for a ruger AR 556 for basic plinking from low to medium distance shooting? No more then about 100 yards without breaking the bank? I’m in a tight budget but don’t want to by junk.

  48. Terminus XRP on December 6, 2021 at 9:06 pm

I always buy my optics from http://www.TerminusOptics.com

  49. Kylethefish on December 6, 2021 at 9:07 pm

Genuinely curious here. Just bought my first gun and wanted to throw a sight on there. Turns out the sight I got is too tall for the cheek and am looking for a lower sitting sight. My question is what’s the difference between say an 80.00 dollar sight compared to a 200.00+ sight?

  50. Shape Shift Inc. on December 6, 2021 at 9:07 pm

4:04 that is not how you pull the trigger because you are supposed to SQUEEZE the trigger. That is what my drill sergeant said.
