Best knives to carry when you’re violating citizens’ rights to carry knives

  6. A.W. R-C on October 28, 2021 at 8:42 pm

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see the practical application of these knives for law enforcement. A leatherman with both straight and serrated blades, such as the wave, gives you all the cutting options you need plus way more in a much smaller package that can sit on your belt. If there is blood etc and you need to cut things there are disposable tough cutters for that purpose. I wouldn’t want to use a $100+ knife which could end up contaminated.

I did asphalt work…so let me know when a diamond blade gas powered rotary "knife" is made… :O) the Pocket Saw

  8. Mason VanDuyne on October 28, 2021 at 8:43 pm

Spyderco Manix 2, has been great. Used with manix glues, heavy gloves and even winter gloves.

  9. Tom Highway on October 28, 2021 at 8:46 pm

Matt….I pissed myself dude. My family actually came in to check on me because my 9 year old thought I was having a stroke/heart attack. The audio from the cut….roflmao!

  10. paul dayton on October 28, 2021 at 8:46 pm

    The Manix 2XL !? WTF?

  11. trob500 on October 28, 2021 at 8:47 pm

Nice video. I use the auto triage. Specifically wanted the auto version because it’s easier to open with gloves, with either hand, and the safety hook is also auto so you don’t have to worry about dexterity or ripping your rubber gloves. I was carrying a ZT 0350 plus a Benchmade Houdini, but the auto triage has all of that in one tool.

  12. Apex_grind on October 28, 2021 at 8:47 pm

If I could start a 16 gauge I could open a knife in the ER

  13. TheeMrRoboto on October 28, 2021 at 8:50 pm

    Red arrow……red arrow……red arrow

  14. codemiesterbeats on October 28, 2021 at 8:50 pm

lol in NC you have to open carry "switch blades" so yea they kinda are no pants knives. I been wondering if the tip of the knife being visible from the top of your pocket qualifies as being "open carry"

    Where’s my auto Stryker?

  16. royan thegoat on October 28, 2021 at 8:51 pm

i use a manix 2 with gloves works great

  17. Joey isamazing on October 28, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Cool video but one thing that wasn’t mentioned was the pocket clip. With a deep cary pocket clip it can be almost impossible to get a knife out of your pocket with leather gloves on. That’s why I prefer to carry a fixed blade if I can while wearing gloves

  18. Killabee-23 on October 28, 2021 at 8:52 pm

For real Jamie enough with the red arrow it was funny the first time. But not 80 times later super annoying man!

I’m not trying to be that one guy, but where’s the M16s.

  22. Wendy Owens on October 28, 2021 at 8:55 pm

It seems all but maybe the Autonomous require you to take your attention off the task at hand just to open the knife.

  23. Bruce Leroy on October 28, 2021 at 8:56 pm

Couldn’t source any police issue gloves?

  24. Paul Pu on October 28, 2021 at 8:59 pm

I feel that this review should have had the knives pulled out from your pocket to show the true glove test.

  25. Tactically Tim on October 28, 2021 at 9:01 pm

  31. CrazyIrishMedic on October 28, 2021 at 9:09 pm

Before I was medically retired I was a FF/EMT and I carried two knives one in my pocket and one in my turnout gear. The one I carried in my pocket was the benchnade Triage and in my turnout gear I kept a Gerber 06 that I got used at an army surplus store. The tip was broken off so I rounded it off and it was a great rescue knife when in full gear… till I lost it in a fire Lol then I switched to a cheap fixed blade gutting knife that had a rounded tip. No need to open or close a knife just have to remember to put it back in its sheath.

  32. ARMORER1911 on October 28, 2021 at 9:10 pm

You forgot the Benchmade AFO-2 which I am sure would pass without any problems. Benchmade increased the size of the Button.

  33. Holden Magroyn on October 28, 2021 at 9:11 pm

Welcome to Knife Banter, with your hosts, Bear Grylls and Liev Schrieber. Lol. 👍🏻

Best knife for graduation and birthday gifts. James Bond knives. Best ones for grandpa, Boy Scout, or son in the military.

  40. ray w on October 28, 2021 at 9:17 pm

I wear khakis with mechanics gloves

  41. Hunter Johnson on October 28, 2021 at 9:18 pm

If I had gloves on I’d use a fixed blade.

  42. Lance Gaerte on October 28, 2021 at 9:22 pm

I wear leather gloves everyday to work on a farm and I edc a kershaw shuffle. It opens easily and I can close it with the liner lock while my gloves are on. Cheap and functional. It works for me.

  43. T S on October 28, 2021 at 9:23 pm

Why not just use a fixed blade cut out the opening and get a sturdier knife

  44. matthew relles on October 28, 2021 at 9:23 pm

Definitely am all-star classic for humorous clip insertions. Keep it up film guy 👍

  45. Beau Blumhardt on October 28, 2021 at 9:23 pm

The best knives to use with gloves are fixed blades

  46. Chris Smith on October 28, 2021 at 9:23 pm

Skip the knife and use your large caliber handgun 🙂

  47. John Keck on October 28, 2021 at 9:26 pm

  49. Shaun Culwell on October 28, 2021 at 9:27 pm

Okay question I’m a bullfighter and have been looking the bench made triage because if their is a spur caught in the bullrope a hook blade is needed to cut the rope and not hurt the bull or anyone but my question is is the hook big enough to fit onto an 1/8" to 1/4" thick rope to free a rider
