Taurus g2c or barretta? Gun store that has them both same price. Which should I get.
You missed the good thing on the trigger. You totally missed the mark on it. If you have a misfire that trigger allows you to pull it again in an attempt to refire that round. Also if you have a laser practice shell it enables you to repeatedly pull the trigger without cocking the slide to fire the laser again.
I’ve been looking for parts pertaining to slide and base for a different color, can anyone help?

I have had a few of these, from the pt111 to the g2c, and I haven’t had any issues at all with these with normal use. I don’t abuse my firearms (putting them in mud or throwing them against rocks and such) and the taurus g2c holds up. I have a Glock and a cz, both are in the safe and I carry the taurus because it’s ergonomically better to me than the others.
Just bought one today. Can’t wait to take it to the range. Thanks for the heads up on the tricky trigger!

I have the g2c as my first gun. I love it
Outstanding gun for the money, hands down. Well over 1000 rounds of really everything. I have honestly not ever had a issue. I have replaced the trigger at around 600 rounds but only because I wanted to…wasn’t needed. Not a fan of glockenspiel grip angle and the XD is to fat. I have guns much more expensive and some cheaper, but for everyday carry, this is it.
Do G2s have other clips than a 7 round?
Mine came with the the standard 12 double stack and the extended 17 double stack with a beige spacer to match the gun. Love this gun for my wife.
Just got it comes with the 16 round mag as well and it adds about another half inch to grip and fits nice amd its flush and same color as the gun

Completely recommend changing out the polymer guide rod for the stainless steel guide rod and replacing the stock sights with some fiber optic sights or night sights. I did those two upgrades and the pistol shoots so damn good.
My trigger don’t do that good review though the weight is awesome

Someone needs to learn how to pull a trigger properly. I’ve shot a g2c several times and the trigger is fine.

and if you talk to real operators, they dont rely on their pinky( aka the weakest finger on on hand) then its not that bad for the price… ps. shoot pistols without relying on your pinky to see iff a pistol is good enough for you. the pinky finger is the most worthless finger to rely on to see if a pistol is comfortable to shoot……
Went for a Beretta Apx left with with a G2C, couldn’t believe it felt so good, prefer the heavy duty trigger. For open carry it is a very good hand gun.

Hell I picked mine up for $100, a co worker of mine didn’t need it anymore because he purchased a Glock for carry. He never shot it so I basically have a brand new gun. I own sigs, glocks, rugers, m&ps, etc, and the Taurus is a great bargain. They have definitely improved in quality to become a serious contender, I also highly recommend the Taurus 856 revolver as well.

I bought one to keep in my truck. So if I’m in a hurry and don’t want to put my normal carry gun on. I can just jump in the truck put it on my inside the pants holster and go. My wife is always sending me to the store after I get home and clean up, so no worries. Great gun for the price, never had a malfunction yet!!!

ive had mine for just over a year and no problems. and think about your issue with the trigger, about having to pull it straight back. that’s what you’re supposed to do anyhow to help keep from pulling shots to the right or left. i see this as an attribute that helps force a person to practice proper trigger discipline
