Does anyone else think that this watch would benefit from a gingerbread-leather strap with leather pad? I think that it would bring out the aviation roots far better than the stock strap.

Its have to be a 46m case size for me. my next purchase going add this bad boy to my Rolex Submariner and my Panerai Pam 422 47m

Very nice to see a Bell & Ross video here! Looking forward to the commissioned video or series! Have a nice day!

I read that the Bell & Ross mechanism costs about $300. I have shopped their watches and few fall below $1000 in price. So.. Using simple math $1000 minus $300 equals $700. You can apply that to the materials such as a sapphire crystal face and a high end band. As much as I like the watch.. It is grossly overpriced. Thanks for the video.

Hey Tim, do you prefer the 42 or the 46?

    Nice!

I’ve had one of these for 12 months now and it’s been brilliant . Buy what you like , because whatever you buy , some arsehole will come along and criticise it and watch snobs are the worst of the worst .

They would have to rip the stuff right off of me…

  9. Andrei 31 on November 18, 2021 at 9:51 pm

    Very nice 👏😊

I liked this watch when it was released. When I learned about the inexpensive movement and average stainless steel case, I realized it was grossly overpriced and I moved on.

Hahahaha.. that’s a ugly design watch.

  12. Alvin Aw on November 18, 2021 at 9:58 pm

This is our first Bell & Ross in… a while. To be honest, I’m not sure how long it’s been. But it’s here now, and this one has a superb lume shot at the end.
    Best,
    Tim

I’m hoping for the WW1 monopusher, the coolest model they’ve released yet!

  17. Shazbot on November 18, 2021 at 10:10 pm

    So cool. Love it.

  18. Mauricio Ortegon on November 18, 2021 at 10:24 pm

The one I have is already 10 years old, the strap is made of stainless steel and is one of my favorites.

  19. F Poynton on November 18, 2021 at 10:25 pm

I really like B@R- that flat case – just a cool aviation display console tough tool theme – like a aviators version of a Panerai. 👍

  20. Ravencroft on November 18, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Those screwgrooves not being alligned bothers me.

  21. Paves Garage on November 18, 2021 at 10:27 pm

I’ve had one of these for about a year. Absolutely love it. It works for any occasion by swapping out the bands for either the factory rubber or nylon straps or aftermarket leather straps. They might not have the heritage or bespoke movements of other brand in this price range but the workmanship that goes into it really shows. If you like it, buy one. If you care what watch snobs think of the brand, don’t.

  22. 4Memf2dafizzo on November 18, 2021 at 10:27 pm

Looks questionable. 4 screws aren’t lined up the same. Dial looks matte instead of textured. Lettering above the 6 seems too low. This is one I wouldn’t touch without comparing it to another.

  23. Evan Eastwood on November 18, 2021 at 10:30 pm

Does it bug anyone else that the screws aren’t parallel with each other?

  24. Alican Sunalı on November 18, 2021 at 10:34 pm

I really admire design, versatility and purpose of Bell & Ross. Big but flat and slim cases which fits on wrist quite nice. That’s the true instrument watch design which will be there for a century.

  25. Trae UCity on November 18, 2021 at 10:35 pm

Another reviewer said this brand is not worth our money, due to the unimpressive movement used; but I LOVE the industrial look of this piece.

  26. Shipmate on November 18, 2021 at 10:37 pm

Has a special Panerai-esque feeling to it. Too bad B&R isn’t an independent brand anymore…
