Just picked up my first ak. I’ll have to pick up a parts kit and receiver here in a bit, too.
Says " I dont want to get every piece out " , proceeds to lay out entire gun for assembly. . Also. I have never had a parts kit look like that , those are amazing. Mine were beat to hell , bent and missing parts. That first kit was like new.

I would to lead off with a thank you for doing this video. I am new to the AK world and seeing the parts that would come out of a kit like these helps me visualize just how I would like my AK pattern rifle to look.
Now, I already stated that I am new the the AK world and I would appreciate some advice from more experienced AK fans. Would the milled polish AK parts kits modeled in this video fit with a stamped receiver or would I require finding a specific milled receiver to fit these parts onto a functional platform?

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. The Polish kits are some of the nicest kits I have ever built.

Can you recommend an ak builder? I’m not really into the whole russian/comblock collector shit. I’m just looking for some specific parts on my AK. I’m fine with an american receiver/barrel being used for the build.
The best prices on AK-47 parts by a long shot are from a company on Gun Broker called spectresupply2.

I’m just starting to get into AKs have only had ARs but I really want to start on an AK build but I have a question I’m looking at getting an AK-105 kit will I be able to put a longer barrel on it so I don’t have to get a tax stamp for it or is the standard 12.5” barrel the only barrel compatible for a 105 parts kit?
So your going to put one together ? Can you do the one with the stock instead of the folder ?

Seems like you’re going to end up spending several hundred dollars if not $1000 to build a kit plus time and tools when you could buy a nice factory built gun for less. I could see this being a good option if these kits were like $200, am I missing something here? Will these guns gain value quicker? Or just the cool/fun factor of building it yourself?
