AR15 QD latch plate options & QD sling mounts – A review of several

I review three QD (quick disconnect) latch plate options and four QD sling mounts. Noveske, Daniel Defense & Fortus for latch plates and Damage Industries, Spikes Tactical, Troy Industries and GG&G for QD sling mounts. Spikes Tactical has a new QD latch plate similar to the Noveske, but I was unable to find any for review (they are new)

    just ordered my spikes buffer kit and was wondering if there’s a Mill spec latch plate or if any of these will work fine?  Thanks 2Phast

    The GG&G ring is the best application of the rings in my opinion and the Noveske is the best looking QD attachment if that’s what one is looking for. I have both as options for my build.

    Thanks for all the intricate details.  It’s better to learn from you then waste time and money on a set up that can be harmful.

    Seems the Fortis/Daniel Defense are thicker. Could be a problem with a "pistol" tube without a castle nut. Might not screw in enough to cover retainer.

    Great reviews as usual order a IWC QD End Plate from La Rue really nice, looks like the Noveske .
